So I'm picking up my 850 SP next week and I'm in the process of buying/ordering all the accessories so I can get the dealer to put everything on while I'm there so I can have it all done and ready to take home.... In the process of looking around and doing research I guess I'm going to guy with the Polaris 3500 winch... How do you like yours so far? Any problems? All I've ever had in the past is Warn Winches... Second question, I see you have the 2018 Sportsman 850 and apparently they changed the a-arms to ARCHED a-arms in 2018 on the 850 and 1000? So there's no protection/boot guards. I called and asked Polaris and have looked EVERYWHERE online and apparently no one makes them which is crazy to me. I'm scared because they are exposed of what could happen but if there's no product available to buy then there is nothing I can do lol. You have a great quad man I can not WAIT to get mine!
I have only used my winch 3 or 4 times so far, and it has preformed great(smooth and powerful). The button to operate the winch is in a great spot were I can use with my thumb and still have my hand on the grips. I agree that there should be a-arms guards available. I have been keeping a eye on mine, so far so good. The arched a-arms, I think, have given me an advantage in the ruts. The engine braking takes some getting used to, be careful.
