    cool video man. Where did you get that Gambrel hook thing?

      @@imagineengine I believe I got the gambrel from Dicks, the hoist from harbor freight. It’s really held up and still working. Between myself and hunting buddies have skinned a lot of deer on it.

    I'm here researching this hoist because I need it to lift my Honda HRX217HZA walk behind mower onto my work bench. Honda mowers are notorious for being heavy, plus it's got a 20lb striping kit on it and I just don't feel like throwing my back out trying to lift that thing off the floor every month. So I think this will be perfect for the job.

      Heinzkitz Velvet did you try the hoist ? I hope this would fit your purpose.

      @@EveryonesOutdoors Not yet. I was waiting for the mowing season to get a little closer, and to build up some cash. Between the small paychecks due to weather, and the terrifying heating bills, thank you weather, I'm running a bit short right now. But I'll have it by the end of February.

    I'm going to get one to lift my riding lawn mower on the front with straps. Its a pain in the ass always dropping mower deck everytime I want to clean the underside of deck and take blades off to sharpen.

    • @EveryonesOutdoors
      @EveryonesOutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure it would lift one side

    • @vikings844
      @vikings844 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EveryonesOutdoors The one I'm getting has a 850# capacity. Should lift it no problem. I'm just lifting the front end of a zero turn lawn mower where the engine is in the back. Most the weight will be on the rear tires which will be on the ground.

    Bought the 440 pound hoist Pittsburgh from Harbor Freight gonna use to lift my doors so they won't fall on floor and the hood but now have to find a way to attach it to the hood.

    What sized lag bolts are these? The one that comes on my hoist are threaded and I’m not sure on the size I need if I mounted it flush like yours is. Thanks

    Just seems like a great idea I wonder would it be a good idea to do one like this but for outdoor?

    • @EveryonesOutdoors
      @EveryonesOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      About Me Life I thinks it would be just fine as long as you made a small roof to keep direct weather off of it. Wouldn’t take much just a slab of plywood

    • @vin-r8602

      So just 4 bolts in to the wood?
      Can this work on just bolting on a trailer wood floor. No weld needed? Just to pull up garden tractors.

    • @EveryonesOutdoors
      @EveryonesOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vin- R I think if you through bolted it and the trailer boards are thick enough it would work for a lawn mower that was in neutral very easy
