Hey Al, Great Job! Your a lucky man to find and work on all these cars that your so passionate about. Your the real deal with a genuine heart. I wish I could stay motivated to finish one before getting another. How do you do it? I have a 67 Chevelle I've had since 91 when I was 27, and never driven lol. bodys been done (in primer), off the frame, lots of parts and it was together when I got it lol. Now I'm 60! Many other easier projects kept taking priority. Currently a sleeper 55 chevy 4dr . Maybe Ill get motivated by all your great videos. look forward to the next.

Al, you are a genuine guy. There are a lot of good TH-cam car build channels, but there is something very genuine about your work and your presentation. I would feel proud to drive one your cars and take one to a car show. I am an artist and was thinking about making a t shirt design for your channel. It would be caricature of you with a Camaro in the background with a caption that says, "I just wanted to stop and show you what I am doing." I think that expression sums up what you are doing for your audience. You stop and review each step in each build. And, after watching so many of your videos and hearing your famous expression, I think it would make for a great t-shirt. Also, each day I get home from work, I instantly log into TH-cam hoping for another Keep It Simple Garage video. Happy Friday!

@@antinioacosta2710 Hello, yes it was an original Z/28 the tranny and rear were original. The motor was a 427 L88 with aluminum snowflake heads. I mentioned how I was really only interested in the black Z/28 but never told you the reason sorry about that. I had purchased a 1967 camaro that sat in a barn for years with an all numbers matching 1968 Z/28 drivetrain I wanted to put the motor in the black Camaro but someone offered me a crazy amount to buy it the way it sat so I sold it before I had a chance to swap the motor. In 1967-68 the motor was an MO 302 but in 1969 they were DZ 302 motors. I had an MO 302 that would have made it perfect for that car. If I feel better later today I will post a video of the 1967 camaro I purchased with the 1968 Z/28 drivetrain to hopefully explain the reason.
