We read Family Under the Bridge last year and my 12 year old said it was one of his favorite books of the year which surprised me. This year we were donating books to make room for new books and he chose to keep that one from last year.

We got the polar express night idea from you years ago and it's my kid's favorite holiday tradition. We also do secret sibling gifts but only have 3 kids and the 2 girls figured it out right away, my 10 year old son is still clueless.
Awww sweet video. We do secret sibling with our 5 kids too! Some years its hard to get my 3 boys (all younger than their sisters) from spilling the beans about who they picked. lol

This was lovely. Gorgeous kids 😊. Also something to learn here. We often stress about getting our children all (or the most wanted) things on their lists. This shows beautifully that very often they can’t even remember what they asked for 😂. But they can very easily bring to mind past memories and experiences. We should give ourselves permission to relax about the “stuff” and credit our children with the emotional intelligence that allows them to realise what is actually important to them. Also, well done Momma for not diving in and helping out with wrapping. I know my OCD would have been screaming to jump in 🤣.
