Marc is the man
Marc was so handsome and appealing. He was on "Dallas" the year Patrick Duffy left, but then got shafted when it all turned out to be a dream. (Duffy's movie career failed to materialize and he was brought back.) He and Victoria Principal didn't exactly click, though. He was so good in "If you Could See What I Hear" as blind actor Tom Sullivan.
Ah, Marc Singer is rhe best! I Love him - and so does this interviewer, haha. Shes so funny with her flirting, and Marc is so charming in how he reacts.
I met Marc Singer. A super actor and a super person.

It was sad to see him on Dallas because V was cancelled
It was sad at the time when V was cancelled but looking back it makes sense. The series didn’t live up to the high standard of quality set by the original 1983 mini-series and the sequel the following year. The minis were very expensive to produce but NBC scaled the budget back significantly once it became a weekly and it showed. The special effects were subpar, and the plotlines seemed to became more like a soap opera. Sometimes it was like “Dynasty on a spaceship” with the Visitor power struggles (though that stuff was fun at the time.)
But the series did have its moments, and the cast was strong throughout. I wonder how things would have played out if the network had decided instead to do a third and final mini-series installment a year after the sequel, instead of the series. I’d like to believe the results would have been better.

Matt Cantrell was a strange character. He appears out of the blue and was supposedly a friend of Bobby's that everybody was well acquainted with. And then once the season was over, we find out he only existed in Pam's dream.
In another interview Singer admitted guest starring for a season on Dallas was difficult. He said he didn't regularly watch the show and wasn't 100% up on the whole soap opera backstory of everything that had transpired since the beginning and who had betrayed who and who had an affair with who....he said it was fun but an odd role for him to just come in randomly in the middle of it.
Marc's voice sounds a lot like RFK's without the accent
I believe Marc's sister is actress Lori Singer (Ariel) from Footloose ('84). It was mentioned he comes from a musical family and Lori is an accomplished cellist.
I absolutely loved this series. Why doesn't anything today even come close to it. The remake by ABC in 2010 was terrible.
God, the dream season was wretched.
