Easyguard 003 issues

I wired everything as it will be wired in the car, to bench test.
When connecting door lock actuator, alarm is triggered and functions wont work until I disconnect the actuator and hit unlock on key fob.
The amber lights flashing are the "on" and "start" signals, to test the push to start button. The relays clicking in the video are the main unit's for the siren and turn signal flash signals. I unhooked the siren for my sanity....This unit does not like the door lock actuator for some reason! I am using configuration "D" from the owners manual....
**UPDATE** What is happening in this video is the power supply was not adequate enough for the door lock actuator(s) so it is resetting and thus setting off the alarm. I hooked it up to a bigger power supply and it worked as it should.

Hey I have a problem with the easyguard ec002 i got it all hooked up the car start with the push to start but it dies right after. What could be the cause? I hooked up the blue oil path wire to a 12v constant because I dont know where the fuel pump wire or oil is /cant find it in my 2008 kia sportage.

The siren output is constant or intermitent

Hey. When I bench tested mine it didn’t act right. Turned out that my bench power supply didn’t supply enough power. I had to turn it up to 14-15 volts.

@@adyjames8204 my issue was power supply was inadequate too! Was such a relief to figure that out... Installed in my car has been great except the pke range is junk and the remote start range not so great

hold center button for i think 5 seconds. Careful though because car will shut off automatically after 20 min or so if it wasn't wired properly

if you need help lemme know... sometimes if your vehicle takes too long to crank it stops trying too soon.... other than that it should work i think?

When I replace the actuator with an LED, it works great....

Are you sure you are using the same model? On this one everything is programmed at factory and there are two pagers, only one active at a time

@Bryson Hodge not sure if I answered your question in my prior response (i used google translate) but your alarm module is not receiving proper tachometer signal. Dont let it attempt to start after it runs you will sheer your starter key

Green is fuel pump wire. + Positive. Try hooking it to +12v (can splice to the bigger white wire)

What I did was build and solder a voltage divider circuit to make 5v from 12v. Basically to simulate a tachometer. I don't think you need to do that though, just splice it to the big white wire from the 6-wire harness.

If you don't hook the green wire up, when you try to start it remotely, it will keep trying to crank the starter while it is already running....Is this what is happening??

You can also splice to white wire from the 6-wire harness, if that is your issue....
