Easyguard 003 issues

I wired everything as it will be wired in the car, to bench test. When connecting door lock actuator, alarm is triggered and functions wont work until I disconnect the actuator and hit unlock on key fob. The amber lights flashing are the "on" and "start" signals, to test the push to start button. The relays clicking in the video are the main unit's for the siren and turn signal flash signals. I...

Hey I have a problem with the easyguard ec002 i got it all hooked up the car start with the push to start but it dies right after. What could be the cause? I hooked up the blue oil path wire to a 12v constant because I dont know where the fuel pump wire or oil is /cant find it in my 2008 kia sportage.
How do u shut it off tho?

I'm back tracking on the wires as we speak. I had to remove the console and other after market things that the original owner installed. Thank you very much

It's only works on cars that don't have immobilizer system except you plug in only the key on the ignition and hot

I don't know of any immobilizer. I did this vid for people installing keyless pushbutton systems to use for reference
It starts the car but the gauge cluster and signals don’t work and if you haven’t taken off the steering lock it’ll lock the wheel on you

@@justinmckibben4534 lol why would I say that if I had a different car, I have a 2002 corolla as well. I did this almost a year ago when I lost my keys the first time and did it again the other day using this video as reference. The ignition switch connector you unplug to put the jumpers in, the ignition switch itself has a steering wheel lock pin in it and the ignition is secured around the steering column with special bits so you can’t remove the ignition thus bypass the steering lock. If it doesn’t have power, aka it being unplugged, it locks down. I had to drill one side out to use it and replace it with a normal bolt and hex nut when I found my keys again. The ignition and accessory power works but not the main power so no turn signals, auto headlights, dash cluster, if the door isn’t fully closed it’ll beep the whole time with the lights on because it thinks it’s off.
@@brentbarham3157 ah ok. I had my keys and was a breeze to remove the key cylinder.. Didn't think about those ppl with the steering wheel still locked

if you need help lemme know... sometimes if your vehicle takes too long to crank it stops trying too soon.... other than that it should work i think?

Help where does the wiring harness connect too not the switch part but the part that you are putting the the wire in?

I have 1 my car will not start think it has something to do with the green wire
Green is fuel pump wire. + Positive. Try hooking it to +12v (can splice to the bigger white wire)
What I did was build and solder a voltage divider circuit to make 5v from 12v. Basically to simulate a tachometer. I don't think you need to do that though, just splice it to the big white wire from the 6-wire harness.
If you don't hook the green wire up, when you try to start it remotely, it will keep trying to crank the starter while it is already running....Is this what is happening??
You can also splice to white wire from the 6-wire harness, if that is your issue....

Are you sure you are using the same model? On this one everything is programmed at factory and there are two pagers, only one active at a time

@Bryson Hodge not sure if I answered your question in my prior response (i used google translate) but your alarm module is not receiving proper tachometer signal. Dont let it attempt to start after it runs you will sheer your starter key

Used mutliple actuators as well...no cigar!
@@adyjames8204 my issue was power supply was inadequate too! Was such a relief to figure that out... Installed in my car has been great except the pke range is junk and the remote start range not so great
When I replace the actuator with an LED, it works great....
