No. With round stones there are much more chances to ruin the edge, since it will be processing a single point, not a surface. Even the most curved knifes have sections that might be called a so-so plain. If you want to sharpen a recurved blade - use narrow stones.

Great demo.
Thank you!
I have been sharpening Khukuri with the tsprof for several years, I keep hoping you will make a tihicker clamp for them soon.
That's the plan!
Well if you need a tester I am happy to review!
@@TSPROFSharpeningAny idea on when both the new convex "infinitely adjustable" thingy and both the wider clamps (both for K03) drop?
It feels like the edges of the stone dig into the cutting edge on recurved blades. Any thoughts on making some round/curved profile stones?

I have a KO3 Hunter Pro purchased last month, will there be a convex adapter made for that in the future?
He is using a K03 in the video what do you mean?
Sure thing. The adapter comes as an additional item. It will available on the website in 2 weeks :)
Yep, there're adapters for K03 Pro and for K03 Expert as well.
@@RazorSharpMuenchenHe means (check the latest videos) the new convex adapter, that has "infinitely adjustable" angles.
Thank you very much
You are welcome!
