In an earlier video you talked about Hydrogen Peroxide hair lightening. It's acidic right so causes a lot of hair damage, if you mixed the peroxide with an alkaline and try bring the pH up, would that be better for the hair?
You are on the right track however too far acidic or alkaline is damaging to hair. Peroxide alone will lighten hair but not very effectively but if you can raise the pH it does an even better job. This is what lightener powder does, raise the pH of peroxide. However when removing pigment from the hair, you are actually removing the physical structure of the hair, so the better the lightening, the more efficiently you are damaging the hair.
