The sad thing is it should have never come to this. ALL of the goodwill and championships and name recogition the A's brought to Oakland, and then to let some lazy and incomptent city of Oakland officials, who apparently know nothing about the A's, their history, or baseball in general let it dissolve into this is very sad. There's something, however, they are not telling the people. Some big company, or corporation wants the land were the Oakland Colseum stands BAD for their purposes and are behind this with the apparent cooperation of the city. Watch, now they tear will down the stadium, and then their "true" plans will be revealed. Back room dirty dealing I think. Thank you Oakland A's, I was there when you first came to Oakland in the 1960's, and I'll always be there for you. A's fan FOREVER.
