My car failed due to globe in brake light in rear window blew when mot pushed pedal so I had to rebook car back in think mechanic simply put globe in it charge me 1 pound thats what it cost but really time off work 100 pounds ,so told mechanic after passed car do 1 and word soon went round alot locals stopped using him as doing similar to others cheap things could have replaced but choose fail car well he shut down year later went bust .
I get what you're saying. Yes, there are some dodgy mechanics/Testers out there. It's a shame really, as we get dodgy people in all manner of places.. Just look at the Governments of almost every country right now..
