Saab 9-3 Convertible Roof Cleaned, Fabsil Gold added and real Rain Test
Well, this was going so good until the rain came!!
Fabsil Gold was added and the surface was touch dry 3 hours later.
Looks like there's a few areas I need to add some extra coatings.
Turns out it was a rather unexpected act of random weather that provided a nice little test of Fabsil Gold under almost "immediate use" applications.
Stay tuned though as there's more of this car to come!!!

Motorbike petrol fuel tanks airbrush projects - Yamaha, Triumph

One tank cover from a Yamaha and one from a Triumph Tiger cub. I've got ideas for both tanks. Although the Triumph tank may only be useful as an artistic piece, I'd be pleased if I got it to a stage where it would be fine to use. The fuel tap on it is blocked and will need stripping down too, so loads of fun inbound!!

Who in the hell sends a petrol tank in the post with at least £5 worth of petrol still inside it... Entire package, wrapping and box, STINK of petrol. Interior wrapping is soaked and stained.

I was given this air pistol way back in 1980!! It's been all over the place with me over the years and is one of my "prized possessions". Had a busted spring in 1986, so that might be why there are two dings in the rear of the chamber. This is the first deep clean it has had since it was given to me.. Now, finally, with a huge thanks to Bulldog BDX Gun Oil, it gets what it dearly needed..

It rained... Lo and behold we have a puddle and it there has been a reaction. Could the water be testing the two by going white like that? Is more of that white substance revealing the fact that one is worse than the other?? Time will tell..

Guess what I did today??? I'm just filming some other people having their little race here. I went out on the track after them. The kart I was using had some issues. This Saab was in dire need of a good deep clean. Did a full clay bar, compound rub, polish and wax.. Owner is very pleased with it. My only issue was that it turned into a bit of a rush job and I wasn't able to take the time I wanted to.. Ho-hum...

Just a little update on the 9-3 and its roof.. The day it was all done it rained in the late evening and just to be 100% sure the job was done right, I gave it an extra coat of Fabsil..

My car failed due to globe in brake light in rear window blew when mot pushed pedal so I had to rebook car back in think mechanic simply put globe in it charge me 1 pound thats what it cost but really time off work 100 pounds ,so told mechanic after passed car do 1 and word soon went round alot locals stopped using him as doing similar to others cheap things could have replaced but choose fail car well he shut down year later went bust .
I get what you're saying. Yes, there are some dodgy mechanics/Testers out there. It's a shame really, as we get dodgy people in all manner of places.. Just look at the Governments of almost every country right now..

I will just as soon as they find a cure for Essential Tremor.. Sometimes it gets so bad I have to use a straw to drink my coffee otherwise I throw coffee everywhere if I hold the cup.
