West Indies have the talent. They just need that extra spark and a bit of consistency.
Shamarh Joseph is truly a remarkable cricketer with a decent record in first-class matches he has honed his skills and now shines on the international stage. Just look at him taking a wicket off Steve Smith on his very first ball and ending up with a five-wicket haul. He's an incredible bowler and undoubtedly the next big thing in West Indies cricket. What an exciting talent! 🏏🔥
Hopefully he keeps playing test cricket and not end up in the T20 franchises. I am an Aussie, and it was so good watching him bat and bowl. A great find for the WI.

Australia are a champion team full of champion players. For a while there, Australia was completely dependent on Steve Smith to go out and hold the team together. Now they have Khawaja, Labuschagne, Smith, Head, Marsh and even captain Pat who all step up when it is their time and their turn to do so. All of them may not set the world on fire every game, but when the going gets tough, you can bet that a couple of them will stand tall. The bowlers always have confidence that their team will give them something to bowl at.

Deserving Fifer by the debutant Shamar Joseph. His story is touching as he came from a small town in Guyana with 300 pop. and was a vegetable seller to support his family previously. This man's a great dad as well as a cricketer. Long way to go Joseph.
Also Hazlewood was on fire and took 4 wickets early. Much needed innings by Head. Bowling was too strong for the Windies. Aus has this match in their pockets.

West Indies bowled with great courage and belief here. Bowling out Mighty Aussies in their own backyard is a tough job. but boy S Joseph looked exciting. apart from Head they didn't let any Aussie batter get going. it would be exciting to see them ball in the second innings.

Sure, the WI team (bowlers) fought hard and a good debut by Joseph with 5. But they were in fact, blown away. They were still behind Aus 1st innings total with 8 down in their second innings. Losing in 3 days by 10 wickets and looked like it could have been lost by an innings. This was a crushing defeat, WI team let down by their batting performance.

Wi have the building blocks on a good side. We need some changes though. As I said earlier, Athanaze isn’t ready. He will be in one or two seasons. We have two very weak openers and that sets back the side so much. Somehow Kraigg Brathwaite will not be dropped, although he only averages 34. So he will still be there. Tage has too many moving parts in his technique and is like a walking wicket. He should be given a rest. McKenzie is the real deal, undoubtedly. Da Silva bats way too low and should be opening or coming two down, as he has done for Trinidad and Tobago in FC cricket. Possibly Imlach from Guyana can come in and him or Da Silva can play as a pure batsman.
Travis Head should be the opener instead of Steve Smith. He can fill the shoes of David Warner perfectly. Smith will also comeback in form at 2 down position

won't last for three days but after watching Joseph and Mckenzie in the first innings I changed my thoughts but it seems like I have to return to my original opinion. (Three days it seems.)
