Thank you! I just about forgot to change my foot plate... luckily my machine is setup to it wouldn't let me move my needle with the single hole plate ont=!!
Great tutorial! I actually love my 1/4" foot. But I think it's because I sew almost exclusively on a 1952 Singer 15-91. Since it's straight stitch only, the feed dogs are very narrow, so I have no issues keeping anything straight with the foot. It's a great piecing machine. It and my 201-2. Though one day I'd really love one of the fancy machines that can do all the cool stuff like cut the thread and, well...do a zigzag. Lol
Well there you go, that works!! Guess you'll have to ask Santa for a fancy machine.. never to late to start asking. 😉 But hey, quilting involves a straight stitch, and you've got that covered!! Thanks so much for watching and glad you enjoyed it.
Hmm... not quite sure I'm following the question Kati, or maybe the intent of it. There is no problem having all of your seams on every block the same. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for all of the tips! I have a denim and plaid flannel disappearing 4-patch quilt on my 2023 project list! This video was great timing!
Wonderful! So glad it was good timing!! That should be an warm quilt!!
Excellent tips on the foot and plate.

@@WendyJHaney Just meaning they don't have to be 1/4 they could all be 3/8 or some other number as long as all the same?
Ahhh... yep, as long as your a consistent person and doing the same block, they should all end up the same size. :-)
