Best instructional video I've ever see on youtube--for anything. You walked through every detail, made it easy to understand, and you created a giant hole in the "wall of sound" for nearly anyone to come in and drop some rhymes in those frequencies. Nice work--have a new follower.
I like how you do all these almost completely raw with little planning. It proves you know what you're truly doing cause you come up with answers quickly and efficiently. And also that we as producers don't need to plan out our songs a bunch
PURE GOLD. New to FL Studio and all the tutorials i found before were nothing like this guy. Hes straight to the point and easy to follow. This vid might be 2 years old but man its fire. Just gained a sub my dude and i wish you all the best. Keep it up!
I can already tell, Games putting in hella work so his website gets super huge for next year. With work ethics like this it probably will. Good job man keep up the vids
I watched this the second day after I downloaded the demo version. I didn't really know about sound packs and stuff so this helped me out a lot in the beginning
This is the most informative FL Studio tutorial I've ever seen. I don't give a rat's ass about re-creating something Drake did, but this video is perfect for explaining how to put the various instruments into the workspace. Bonus points for sticking to instruments that are loaded with FL, so that he never clicks on something that I'm not going to find in my demo version. GREAT WORK.
Dude, you are a fantastic teacher/guide. So easy to listen to and follow through, AND you do what most dont do and you explain the little things. Nice job and thanks.
I started working in FL studio 3 days ago, after giving this video a second chance I was able to reproduce the entire thing. I understand its not much but this is a GREAT video and it helped me out so much. U da man!
@busy bro, i watched this and a couple other videos and I gotta thank u for all the knowledge you're sharing with us. Your sound design expertise has stepped my production up to another level. Always appreciative of what you do, bless.
I'm really new to FL studio, and I have been hunting for decent tutorials, finally found myself here. Thank you for explaining things in detail and not making assumptions about your viewership
You the best Man! Keep doing what you do. Thank you for the gift! I will be buying something as a return Thanks Again I am a beginner and you have indeed open my eyes up toward music production.
Hey there game !! Could you please demonstrate, from a song writer's/ Rapper's point of view, how to fit in lyrics within a beat. It would really be helpful if you could start a new serious covering that aspect of music production. Thanks
I remember 2017 watching this and this was the first time i got inspired to actually learn how to use or make beats on Fl and you taught me a lot and I was 10 at the time, now i am 13 and one of of the only producers in my city and I'm the youngest producer
Most of the people judges your mistakes but they don't know the pain by which you have gained the knowledge i liked it because i learnt something and i gain some knowledge love you bro
Fellow producers its just an example guys. Your mission is to learn simply how to use the tools and apply them in your next hot track if need be. Great stuff.
Dude I enjoy the way you simplify things. your videos are so straight forward even my boyz flip when i make em listen to what i do with fl studio. Thanks Bro
It's unbelievable how much progress I have made ever since buying a MIDI keyboard and using FL Studio as a beginner, all thanks to you man, keep up the great work and continue to inspire others. More life, more love from the UK #Busyworksbeatssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssdattcammmmmmmmm
A lot to learn, I came from ignite lol. Ignite looks like a baby's toy compared to this monstrosity. I went in on ignite though until it became too simple for my creativity so I had to upgrade. I'm still having trouble wit the plug ins though, I'm still not used to that many options and controls, I'll figure it out though it's a lot of fun. Great videos btw they help a lot. -Meek Mill
buy a 25/32 key midi keyboard, and you don't need a lot of knows or sliders (I found out the hard way). If you aren't musical, a keyboard will still help so you can get familiar with notes, scales, chords, and harmonies
I liked you in this video. Some videos you dont seem to properly explain what you are doing but in this video you did some immaculate explaining for that i respect you taking the time and effort to do this
Knocked It Out The Park On This One! The most fun had dealing with the sound design aspects of GMS! Don't what all we did tweaking them presets, but followed along and loved and appreciated the end result even more.. Bomb Sound Design Lesson of what can be done using these Free plugins with the proper knowledge of how and what to tweak. Appreciate The Lesson
16:08 He said if you have iPhone headphones you might not hear this well. Lol. I'm laughing because I'm using iPhone headphones. Though I still could hear it fine.
+Shomare100 The new edition of headphones have more bass. The older versions don't have as much clarity in the bass. I just meant lo-fi headphones in general lol
Love the way you explain it. Most other TH-cam channels just throw the beat together, almost as if they are just trying to show off. Anyways def going to subscribe.
Great video bro. I like how you used what was there as opposed to reccomending expensive extras! Its all about the person using what's there! You worked those effects! People spend so much on extra sounds and still make garbage or complain they don't have sounds.
I remember back in the day when I first started, I made some bangers with those drums and VST's. I'm still using stock VST's but I made my own with the plugins off there presets. I'm more into sampling now a days and adding some of the sounds I made in to it. Thanks for the video
Great video man, watching videos of how people do stuff with FL Studio is really helping me to learn how people use differently the program and their tips.
I inspired a friend to try FL a couple years ago, and he's been playing around with it every few months. Then, he sends me a new proof of concept track. For months I thought he made it himself... then I found this video.
Best instructional video I've ever see on youtube--for anything. You walked through every detail, made it easy to understand, and you created a giant hole in the "wall of sound" for nearly anyone to come in and drop some rhymes in those frequencies. Nice work--have a new follower.
I just would like to say I'd be absolutely lost on FL Studio without you man, mad props!
How come when i bring moog bass to piano roll i only have C keys? I need G5
scroll up on piano roll
and u can change view to all keys
FINALLY, a FL TH-camr who uses GMS! I love that plugin so much

the first beat I ever made was me recreating what you did in this tutorial in summer of 2016. crazy how time flies and experiences shape us.
It’s 2022 now..
@@ryanwebb3372 congratulations
I relate to this , i had a similar experience to that .
I was literally about to post the same thing.

tutorial was dope

@busy bro, i watched this and a couple other videos and I gotta thank u for all the knowledge you're sharing with us. Your sound design expertise has stepped my production up to another level. Always appreciative of what you do, bless.
You should do a Blackbear style tutorial!
that would be dope! he should

Heyiiii... can u make a rutorial on how to make glass bell sounds and wimd chimes
Doesn't GMS have an integrated portamento?
i want you to know that you put smiles in my face while watching this, thanks a lot man
Do more tutorials like this using the FL Studio Plugins only!!!!!

I learnt a lot about the fl studio watching this video than watching all the tutorials out there. Great content!

Very good lesson and clear explanation of how sounds work together. That was 3 classes in 1 package. People like you are great teachers.

Great tutorial! Not just showing how to get to the final product fastest, but also explaining the fine details and what they do.
im looking into getting into this kinda stuff, do i need a keyboard just to start makin simple beats?
+cole Hargrave You can learn more about the equipment you'll need here busyworksbeats.com/support There's a video going over it
Short answer no... Seriously game? Its two letters
No you dont need a keyboard
A keyboard would be nice to use to add sounds or to use as a midi controller but NO you dont
buy a 25/32 key midi keyboard, and you don't need a lot of knows or sliders (I found out the hard way). If you aren't musical, a keyboard will still help so you can get familiar with notes, scales, chords, and harmonies
This video got me motivated on 1 buying the thing and 2 it showed me a lot of basics.
What would the world be without you man 😅
you really should do a '' 40 '' beat tutorial like tuscan leather and 30 for 30 sounding songs game
I hope you’re able to see this comment but thank you so much for making this video. This helped me in my music 10 fold.
Your voice kinda sounds like drakes 😂😂😂
I liked you in this video. Some videos you dont seem to properly explain what you are doing but in this video you did some immaculate explaining for that i respect you taking the time and effort to do this
after hearing that lil drake impression i think you should quit your day job lol
I think Moog bass is used in "Sunflower Post Malone" song

Sorry not plug ins. Packs? How do you get more packs but for free?

Hey thanks man. I just got FL12 and didn't know where to start. After watching this I've got some basic stuff down and I'm creating at last.
We need an updated version for modern drake in both his rnb style and his pop style. I’ll love you forever.
The best video for beginners in fl studio
Don’t know what I would have done without this video
I inspired a friend to try FL a couple years ago, and he's been playing around with it every few months. Then, he sends me a new proof of concept track. For months I thought he made it himself... then I found this video.
Great tutorial! New to FL Studio and followed this step by step, very pleased with the results.
Those vintage drums bring back memories :')
