@@hikingoutdoorfamily It surprising was not very crowded for a lake in south Texas in the summer time. There is lots of day use and camping there. Have a wonderful day my friends!!!😊
Another beautiful Texas state park. I'm surprised how few people were there. It seems a lake in Texas in the summer would be packed with people boating and swimming. Maybe because it's such a big park people are spread out a little? Looks like a really nice place!
Thank you for watching!!!Most of the people seemed to be on the side of the lake where I started at but the woods was blocking the view of the lake. It was a Sunday afternoon On a Saturday it is much more crowded. Have a wonderful day!!!😊
Thank you Tucker and I. They have been doing a lot of work on the state parks!!! Great to see the proceeds going to improvements. Have an awesome week my friend. Appreciate your support!!!😊
Wouldn't mind doing some magnet fishing from that dock. I love the covered picnic tables at the camp sites. That's so awesome. Looks like a really great park. Thanks for the tour.
Thank you for watching my friends!!! I bet you could find some things Magnet fishing from that pier. I have been seeing a lot about Magnet fishing lately. Looks very interesting I need to get a magnet and give it a try. We have plenty of piers around here. Have a wonderful day!!!😊
@@Adventure.America Yes you should. It's pretty fun. Can pick up some fairly inexpensive ones on Amazon to get you started. If you like it, then you can consider moving on to something more powerful. That's what we did.
Nice! sorry I missed the premiere, was trying to mow n stuff! I love that old pavillion, that rock work is amazing I need to go there & take some Infrared pictures of it! Thanks for the tour! So this is one where you can fish free if you pay to camp there right? Video very well put together too!
An old Air Force buddy keeps trying to get me to go camping with him there for a nice 4 day weekend and crush the largemouth bass...I keep telling him that only those who can't catch walleye bass fish lol...after watching this video maybe i should change my tune!!! Beautiful country...for some reason it kinda reminds my of back home in Nebraska as odd as that sounds!!! The trees are a bit different, but beautiful nonetheless and I imagine the body of water is a whole lot bigger as well!!! Wait...what...you can fish on land there without a license, but if you fish from the water in a boat you need a license??? If I heard that right that is the craziest thing I've ever heard to be honest. Here in North Dakota and Nebraska if you have a pole in your hand fishing, you best have a license rather you are fishing from the shore or in a boat. Some crazy awesome views!!! Man oh man, definitely a large body of water...guess it true what they say about Texas...everything is bigger!!! I hope tgat your week is off to a truly blessed start and thanks for taking us on a gorgeous adventure!!!👊🏻❤️💯🙏🏻
@@brandonjensen4074 Thank you Brandon!!! At all the Texas State parks that offer fishing no License is required on land or from the piers. The reason it is required in the water is because the water is not all part of the state park. The Texas State parks offer this as an incentive to get people to visit. Which is great for people from out of state. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful day!!!😊
This park had nice picnic areas and that lake was huge. I think the best part was it didn't look crowded at all.
