  • This is the combination of all timelapse videos that we have made for this job. The $15,000 is what it cost to do the shower and the floor. That is not the price for the whole bathroom renovation. The shower system that you see me use is GURU Shower system. The heated floor is laticrete heated floor, and the tile is 32x32 size!
    This whole process took us about two weeks to do. I hope to motivate people do DIY their own bathroom.

    Love your work buddy but I feel there is a lot of repetition with this system. A schluter shower base, presloped, ditra heat mat (only 1 layer for heat and waterproofing) and same for the board. Would cut down a few days of work?

    Very nice man! But question: isnt it easier to put the niche in before putting waterproofing membrane? Because now you put the membrane, cut it out, created niche from drywall, and remade the membrane. 😅

    • @samhabil8088
      @samhabil8088 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can go either way. Cutting out after the fact gets it placed perfectly along the grout joint or you can go crazy when planning and nail it. Either way you're consuming time

      I agree 15 k is way too cheap. There’s a 💩load of skilled labor involved in a job like this.

    Winni, buddy, I’ve been subscribed for several months now. Great effort for a whole bunch of reasons, but I have one comment … look at the resulting pattern on the wall tiles. Couldn’t you have paid attention to the pattern on the tiles a little bit more and make the resultant pattern “flow” better from tile to tile?
    I know, it takes foresight and u need to examine each tile and all adjacent tiles to make the wall seem as a single unit.
    You spent so much effort on all the other steps to do an amazing job, but the step that buyers see is the final result. “The look”! You know?
