Don't think they were *just* learning that - the professor was likely just saying their answer could be in either form. Probably a statistics course.
I really want to go there and major in journalism...
I wanted to go here until the school became over run with Social Justice Warriors.....I can't set foot on a campus without being called a white racist because of my opinions I get attacked verbally all the time.

Why are there so many Asians here?
Does it really matter?
+justinfroot it's not that I have problem with Asians, it's just I wonder why there a larger Asian population, in really the entire UC system, in comparison to other racial groups such as African-Americans?
+Delissa Tate Irvine has a huge Asian population. It's a major hub for immigrants/asian communities/etc. As for the UC system as a whole it's mainly because they're typically the ones who outmatch other students academically and go on to these schools. It's not the race/smarts in particular but rather cultural pressure that typically pushes them to try to get into better universities. It's based on the academics, not the race though.
There are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many Asians. You're practically studying abroad in Asia here.
It's a legitimate question. People wonder about diversity when transferring to a school and a simple change in the majority is not "diversity".
