    we never use top handles on the ground like that. my boss would chew us out if he saw that lol. unless they were someones personal saw then he cant really complain. id be using a 261 for those trees though. which is one of my favorite saws tbh. 201t 261 and a 460 and i can do about anything.

      Yeah you are right I don’t like pushing my top handles but for the purpose of the video I wanted to see how well the bar and chain would handle on these smaller trees! 261 for sure is bad ass have one myself and I love it!

    Curious, why pound wedges with a bull rope installed? I generally hand insert wedge in the back cut as soon as I’m able to keep the tree from sitting back but I don’t pound them when pulling with a rope. Not trying to be “that guy” but just wanting to learn. I’m no expert.

      Sometimes to try and get it over center so it would fall in the direction I want I try pounding the wedge before pulling the rope that way I don’t have to leave the tree in case I need to cut some more off my hinge. Helps prevent from over pulling on a rope and potentially snapping it.

    I was simply looking for something amoother than 3/8lp. Slightly better chain speed too with the larger sprocket compared to most 3/8lp. 1/4 has many good traits but this seems to be a good compromise

    Nice i wont wedge when can pull it over. But i rekon a smaller chain is good. Maybe bit slower on bigger wood. But by then get a bigger saw. Sharpinin 1/4 takes some time n easy sharpen to much then new chain. But when its sharp i love it smooth n leaves nice cut. But each to there own on that. Thanx

    The nano is the same .325 as the husqvarna t540i battery saw combo ?is it not???..i like the 0.43 micro polesaw chain its best tophandle chain have it on both my echos 2511t..and soon on rest

      Yes it is a .325 not sure about the drive link width though but honestly I didn’t like it and quickly swapped to a 1/4 pitch bar and chain I’ll probably go back to that for the battery saw.

      @@alltreesallseasons 0.43. Qaurter pitch is always ..same as polesaw. But it has smaller teeth that for me cut superior...but are pain to file that's trade off.i just buy few for every job ...get discounts

    Sorry to many comments but on the1/4 rekon the file is just abit to small. Which creates to much hook?

    • @alltreesallseasons
      @alltreesallseasons  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I feel like creating the hook can be tricky typically it’s harder for me to see it when filing which throws me off since I’m used to harder angles to gauge my sharpness
