Thank you for this video. I've owned one of your airbrushes for three years now and am very happy with it.

I just ordered this airbrush yesterday from SprayGunner and I’m looking forward to trying it out. I really like the way the needle cap just comes right off and can be attached to the back. I’m almost positive that this will be my go to airbrush.

I've just purchased Genesis XGI here in Australia waiting for it to arrive in a few days from a Australian distributer.

Hello! I have a question. My compressor works, but the arrow stands on zero and does not move. It's something related to pressure. The last time I used the compressor a year ago and everything was well. What am I doing wrong? What can be the reason? My compressor is from Grex's company. Thanks

Greasy your air brush is designed a bit like a harder and steenbak I've already spent enough this year on 2 iwata and a harder and steenback I like the idear of the magnetic needle protector but im wondering because that thing looked huge in old mates hand how small it goes in needle size I like .2 guns but I like variable set up guns ther like having 2 spray guns iwata hi line with the mac valve I find I can spray like a custom micron with that I only spray automotive paint

I've been following along with this video, but for some reason my XSi air valve assembly is on so tight I can't loosen it by hand. What can you suggest I do? I've yet to even use the airbrush for the first time, so everything should be as it came from the factory. Thanks.

Sorry for the delayed response. It's difficult to monitor all our videos and I have an extensive travel schedule. The air valve assembly is "factory tight". To remove it I suggest a pair of small vise grips. The jaws of the vise grips can be adjusted as to how tight they will clamp on an object. In the case of the air valve set them for a "soft snug" adjustment. If the jaws have a knurl to them,,try to allow the knurl to match with the knurl of the air valve so as not to damage to gall the air valve itself. It shouldn't take too much effort to loosen the air valve.
Once it's loosened you won't need to use the vise grips again. Using your hand strength you should be able to thread the air valve back onto the airbrush body and with finger tightness create a proper seal. If you have more questions about your XSi or any Grex Airbrush product you can contact us at info@grexusa.com or call our office at 323-318-2828. We have technicians available most of the time to assist you. If they are not immediately available we will contact you back in a timely manor. I hope this helps and you enjoy your new Grex airbrush.

My apologies for this very delayed response. I don't get notifications when there are responses to the videos. The air valve assembly is on very tight from the factory and a wrench is necessary the first time to loosen it for removal from the airbrush body. I recommend using a little rubber material (like a rubber band) or something to ensure the air valve is not marred by the wrench when pressure is applied. It won't take a lot of effort but more so that fingers can do it alone. Once it's been loosened from factory tight, you can thread it back on finger tight and snug and it will be fine. Again, my apologies for the delayed response.
