    It is a day pack. No need to carry the kitchen sink in it. Each pack is unique and the company should be applauded.

    Great review! I really want this pack. My goal is to see if I can challenge myself to a minimalist travel kit. This will certainly force my hand! I think it's well made and a good bag for what it's intended to be used for; however, if you try to overstuff it with heavy items, then it will significantly underperform. Again, thanks for this video! (Subscribed!!!)

      You're 100% right. It's definitely a great bag if you need something small and minimalist. And definitely not if you try to overpack it like you said. I'm a big fan of how little space it takes up in my carry on or suitcase

    Since getting mine, it has become my most used bag. Previous bags were Osprey, Lululemon and Camelbak. The greatest feature is its narrow profile where your elbows won't keep hitting against the sides of the pack. It's a big deal to trail runners and climbers. I'm not bothered with the lack of slot pockets in front though, I just repack my stuff with a bag organiser in the main to hold little items that are not frequently accessed. The only gripes are lack of rain cover and lack of hip strap.

      Is the fabric water resistant at all?

    Good review. I do love this bad. Incredibly practical for day use and around town. And yes- packable!! Colors are also cheery. Thanks!

    I love my Cotopaxi bags! My Luzon has been all over the world with me, and I just purchased the Batac for more organization. I actually prefer the nylon straps when traveling because in humid climates while wearing a padded bag, it can cause it to rub wrong when your wearing a tank top.

      That's awesome! And ya straps can be rough on your arms, especially when the bag is too heavy. I've also found the padded bags make my back really sweaty if it's too hot

      have you ever had problems with water getting in the top of your luzon?

    Thanks for the review. You talked me out of getting this bag. I would’ve been happy real quick.

      Sorry but I don't quite follow. You're NOT getting it now but you would have been happy?

    Just saw they released a 24L batac and I haven’t seen a review anywhere yet. Have you seen it?

    • @MyriadMisadventures
      @MyriadMisadventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No I didn't realize they released a bigger version. I'll go read about it. Maybe I'll pick up some new bags if they ship to China too.

      I too would love to see a review of the larger one. I do like this one though.

    Planning to buy this over osprey or matador daypack. How do you fold this bag? Does it come with a pouch like other packable backpack? Thanks!

    • @MyriadMisadventures
      @MyriadMisadventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It doesn't have a pouch. I just fold it or roll it up and stick it where there's space in my larger carry on. Like if it were a piece of clothing

      Myriad Misadventures i see. How was it after months of use? Does the material used hold enough quality? I dont have any bag like this so i have no idea. Thanks

      @MyriadMisadventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jeyxi I don't use it daily but I've taken mine on a bunch of trips over the last couple years (probably close to 10 of varying lengths). It's definitely getting old and dirty but nothing has failed yet. I don't think it'll last as long as a heavier more substantial bag though. I think a shorter life will probably be one of the trade offs

      Myriad Misadventures yeah. Thanks for the feedback. Its given with this kind of packable bags. Just enjoy using it every travel :)

    It’s a small pack like a day hike or something not meant to replace larger backpacks…

    the big odd compartment against your back is meant for a water bladder 🙂

    • @MyriadMisadventures
      @MyriadMisadventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wait really?! That makes sense. I'll have to see where the hose snakes out from. Getting a water bladder for it could be cool too

    • @suenummy
      @suenummy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope can't put a bladder there. There's no outlet for the straw unless you custom make one.
