Thank YOU for your kindness! Your bar story was so inspiring! From passing the bar after taking the MBE in a hotel bathtub while smoke alarms were being tested to being on the Theranos trial! Hats off to you to embodying the points I make in this video!

I am hopeful to get some useful guidance here.
I have been a lawyer for many years but in a non-attorney job for a while. I would like to take the UBE. To my frustration, I do not find a ready source for BOOKS that merely lay out the substantive law (i.e., outlines) for topics covered on the UBE. I do not need a crazy-expensive prep course -- I passed two bar different exams without ever setting foot in one.
What physical print book resources are available out there? About all I see are products from "Rigos" and "Sterling". I read someplace that Emanuel has such a product but I do not find it anywhere. Surely there are others. BarBri used to be an outstanding resource but I gather that they want people to sign up for their pricey prep courses.
If you have recommendations, I welcome them. Thanks.

Did you ever get answers to your questions?

Thank you for the question, and I am sorry for the delay, but I wanted to empower bar takers with this sort of question with something better. I just posted a new video titled “How Do I Memorize the Law for the Bar Exam?” In it, I address how the materials out there are voluminous yet unhelpful, and create the illusion of value. The video shows you how to use what you already have to give the bar graders what they want! I appreciate your watching and all the best!

Are hand writers penalized for not typing?

Hi! Great question! A bar taker is definitely not penalized for their decision to write by hand. However, do consider the ease of reading of typewritten words, especially when the grader is reading relatively quickly to find specific attributes in your answer. All the best!
