Good remix man. I would really like a Trails rep to join smash, they are like my most wanted character for smash. I think Falcom deserves some recognition in a game like smash. And the music from games like the Trails series and the YS series is incredible so it would be amazing to get a bunch of tracks like with terry if we get a Trails rep in smash.
Well, Falcom _does_ have a dedicated sound team. I could see Nintendo getting the rights for Ys or Trails songs for Adol, Estelle, or Rean, then get songs from Falcom's other properties while they're at it just because they can.
If theyd put anyone in it would probably be Rean or Adol since they're both the most popular man characters from their series. I really hope one of them is added

I want Laharl (Disgaea) in smash. His entire trailer will just be him bragging about getting an invitation while insulting everyone who didn't (and some who actually did). His moveset will be filled with incredibly cheap moves that no one wants to play against. And he can grind mid-battle to make his moves even more powerful. Turns out that those cheap moves aren't meant to fight, but to grind, and that he's pretty much useless if he doesn't grind. Also turns out that there are plenty of ways to avoid his "cheap moves". This single-handedly makes him one of the most unique fighters in the entire series.

I already have a move set for her: FB would be Comet. Ranged attack that has a slight delay coming out UB would be Hurricane, somewhat like Link's spin attack, but lasts longer and sort of starts slow with the hits and goes faster and faster, like in the main game. DB would change what element of quartz she's using (I know it doesn't work like this in the main game, but for smash bros sake let's do this). Fire would raise her damage, Water would lower how easily she's sent flying, earth would lower how much damage she takes, wind would raise her jump height, and time would raise her movement speed. These would also change the element of her NB NB would be a basic art. Fire would be Fire Bolt, which shoots forward and lights the target on fire, water would use Aqua Bleed which would do a little damage but have high knockback, wind would be air strike, which would do multiple hits and send the target upwards, Earth would be stone hammer, which would do heavier damage, but it sends the stone in an arch with limited range rather than shooting forward with a longer range, and time would be Soul Blur, which would have a chance of stunning the target, but has no knockback. As for her A attacks, I think those would be self-expanitory. Most of them would involve her staff. Her neutral A would make a good rapid attack. And of course, her final smash would be Barrage, which of course would do a bunch of hits and end in a meteor smash.

Her final smash could also be a combo craft with joshua jumping in to help. Imagine if the fighter could actually work like a tag team duo; not necessarily pyra/mythra but more like ice climbers. would be cool to see but i doubt they'd make anything like ice climbers ever, lest they break the game.
clearly im late here but... why not use a craft meter? have her start with 20 cp, let her hold up/forward b to use empowered moves with cp. if she has 100/200, she can s break and cancel any regiular animation into an empowered attack. Final smash should be barrage, upgraded into wheel of time with 200 cp ; )
@@Runexn Her playstyle really should revolve around CP-management. Getting hit or hitting opponents gives her CP. Specials have a CP cost; if Estelle "can't afford" a special, it'll be weakened (but not become useless for recovery). I like the idea of giving her an S-break, but it should probably have some end-lag. Then, it can be used to escape combos, but may immediately leave an opening for another combo if she doesn't hit her foe.
Step Ahead, Sophisticated Fight, Tie a Link of Arcus, Fate of the Fairies, Get Over the Barrier, Fateful Confrontation, Atrocious Raid, Unfathomed Force, Exceed!.... They could never fulfill my wishlist of Trails ost, because there are simply way to many songs I want to hear.
I remember seeing this video around the time it was out knowing very little about Trails. Fast forward to November last year I started my Trails journey and now I'm all the way up to Cold Steel 4. Revisiting this video to say great remix and GOD I WISH ESTELLE WAS IN SMASH!!!!

I'd certainly like to see Estelle make her way in. However, Namco/Bandai feels it's short a rep, and it's hard to see a case of Trails before Tales. Regardless, while I think it's a long shot, I don't think this would be any stranger than Terry's inclusion. For similar reasoning as above, another fighting game character would be widely expected to be from Tekken or Soul Calibun.

So if a Trails character is getting in, now would be the best time for it. In the end it doesn't really matter tho, we're not getting a Falcom character in Smash. I doubt Sakurai likes Falcom games, and there isn't much marketing value in adding a Falcom character.

Lol, this just makes me think about what could be and what will probably never be. But this is great/wonderful. Love it. Estelle or Dana in Smash would be the dream.
The stage would be the Liber Ark. As the fight progresses the Ark starts to crumble, making platforms smaller and less abundant. As a backdrop, the Arseille and the Glorious intertwine in a dogfight. The stages unique attack? The Bobcat picks you up and then nukes the place, before setting you back down.
I really like that idea for a stage. An idea I also had was the stage maybe being the Phantasma location in Trails in the sky the third. The reason why I mention this place as a stage is cause it could be a traveling stage where the Phantasma teleports the characters to different locations in Liberl or all of Zemuria even because the Phantasma is known for making fake versions that look exactly like the original of different places or even characters. I can see this stage possibly having a lot of characters cameos in the background as well depending on the location the Phantasma copied. This could be a good chance for us to get more than one location as a stage represented in the series.
@@Wallie33. TBH, I was going to mention the Empyreal Fortress, but that only served a small part of the plot, same with the Branch Campus in a sense. Another place that came to mind though was the Geofront (I never played any of the previous sagas)

I don't think it matters what version of song this is, it always gets me emotional. I got the first game only a few months after it came out, but I've only been recently playing these games . I really regret not playing it sooner, but maybe it's better this way since they're getting even more attention and rereleased on the PS4.

Estelle would be a great character for smash. Character design of course, her ultimate would be Wheel of Time and would be so epic! But mainly cause she's a bo staff user, or in other word not another sword user!
I personally haven't enjoyed seeing third party characters in Smash since Brawl, and it would sting extra hard if that third-party character came from my favorite franchise of all time. THAT SAID... What would Estelle's signature stage be? I would think the Liber Ark, but with this arrangement being somewhat lighthearted, Grancel Castle Rooftop? Casa Bright? Rolent Bracer Guild Branch? Deck of the Arseille?
Either Liberl Arc, Grancel Castle or Glorious I would imagine since she has some really iconic fights there. Her fight agaisnt Loewe in FC (Grancel Castle, also that one moment in FC), her 1v5 against Gilbert and the enchanced jeagers (Glorious) and Liberl Arc because Liberl Arc is probably the best final dungeon in the series as it actually has a lot of lore about it that you can find while on it. Arseille could be a nice stage or perhaps a stage hazards of sorts too, since it is basically like the mascot of the sky trilogy with how important it is. The fucking thing has so much build up and the pay off at the end of Chapter 7 of SC is just brilliant.
Man, my hopes for Estelle, Joshua, Lloyd (Trails one to be clear) or Rean is high now. Because this is great. Getting any of them or Adol or maybe even Dana would be great. Feel like their reputation is picking up a bit so perhaps we may see something blossom from it.
Wonder what her move set would be if she (and Joshua!) got into Smash... Maybe her B-moves could be some Orbal Arts like Teara or Earth Guard for her Down B, Fire Bolt for Side B? IDK what would be her Up B, though... *thinking emoji* Her staff attacks could probably be her regular and smash attacks, and her FS could be her Barrage S-Break!
For now, since only CS3 and 4 are on a Nintendo console. As some other posts have mentioned, Adol Christin would be a MUCH better falcom rep right now since ther are multiple Ys games on multiple Nintendo consoles.
He would be beyond broken lol. Most of his attacks would probably have a burn effect that leaves your opponent taking a lot of damage even if mc burn doesn’t attack anymore lol.

Estelle would be a great character for smash. Character design of course, her ultimate would be Wheel of Time and would be so epic!

I personally haven't enjoyed seeing third party characters in Smash since Brawl, and it would sting extra hard if that third-party character came from my favorite franchise of all time. THAT SAID...
What would Estelle's signature stage be? I would think the Liber Ark, but with this arrangement being somewhat lighthearted, Grancel Castle Rooftop? Casa Bright? Rolent Bracer Guild Branch? Deck of the Arseille?
Either Liberl Arc, Grancel Castle or Glorious I would imagine since she has some really iconic fights there. Her fight agaisnt Loewe in FC (Grancel Castle, also that one moment in FC), her 1v5 against Gilbert and the enchanced jeagers (Glorious) and Liberl Arc because Liberl Arc is probably the best final dungeon in the series as it actually has a lot of lore about it that you can find while on it. Arseille could be a nice stage or perhaps a stage hazards of sorts too, since it is basically like the mascot of the sky trilogy with how important it is. The fucking thing has so much build up and the pay off at the end of Chapter 7 of SC is just brilliant.

Man, my hopes for Estelle, Joshua, Lloyd (Trails one to be clear) or Rean is high now. Because this is great. Getting any of them or Adol or maybe even Dana would be great. Feel like their reputation is picking up a bit so perhaps we may see something blossom from it.

Well, there are certainly costumes that can be used - "Thors Student", "Travelling Gear" (CSII), "Instructor" (CSIII) and "Sacrifice" (CSIV)

Wonder what her move set would be if she (and Joshua!) got into Smash... Maybe her B-moves could be some Orbal Arts like Teara or Earth Guard for her Down B, Fire Bolt for Side B? IDK what would be her Up B, though... *thinking emoji* Her staff attacks could probably be her regular and smash attacks, and her FS could be her Barrage S-Break!

Someone is better than no one. It'd get more exposure and then a future rep becomes more likely like the Cloud/Sephiroth situation.
Imagine the anger at not only there being yet another sword character, but this time one most people don't even know.
For now, since only CS3 and 4 are on a Nintendo console.
As some other posts have mentioned, Adol Christin would be a MUCH better falcom rep right now since ther are multiple Ys games on multiple Nintendo consoles.

He would be beyond broken lol. Most of his attacks would probably have a burn effect that leaves your opponent taking a lot of damage even if mc burn doesn’t attack anymore lol.
