Thank you, Representative Fugate, for questioning this bad bill! The 2022 US Senate only approved permanent DST by mistake, and several US senators have pledged not to let that happen again. Permanent DST does not increase outdoor activity-it deprives sleep, decreases immunity, and increases accidents. And while a few school days already begin in the dark, those are because of DST-permanent DST would drastically increase the number of dark mornings, while permanent Standard Time would decrease morning darkness. #DitchDST #SaveStandardTime

Permanent DST means later sunrise and sunset especially during winter
