threshold is where you open the gate and hysterisis is where you close the gate, just cause you started speaking at a certain volume doesnt mean you would always stay above that volume when speaking, the hysterisis should be set either at the point slightly lower than where your whispers are (while threshold is set to the point higher than the background noise and below your speaking volume

I WAS ABLE TO SET UP MY RODECASTER PRO 2 YESTERDAY USING ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH THE GREAT JOB YOU ARE DOING HERE.
WHAT I WANT TO FIND OUT IS IF I CAN STILL PROCESS THE AUDIO USING AUDACITY. BECAUSE AS I IMPORTED THE AUDIO TO AUDACITY, THE LEVEL SEEM TO BE LOW.

Try turning up the volume so the RodeCaster can hear the s better or you might have it set perfect mine did it too, l put a little up on it works just fine

Hi! Why is reverberation played in monophonic mode on this device? Can we expect this issue to be fixed in the next firmware of the RØDECaster Pro II? Can this built-in reverb produce a natural surround stereo signal, as in all other mixing consoles from any other manufacturer over the past 50 years?
