Well this is beautiful! I have been to minapin, had a stay at Oshuthang and enjoyed good time at world's highest cricket ground, from where mountain peaks of Rakaposhi were standing high; saying hello to tiny creature; the human. It's amazing to know Rakaposhi with your point of view! Getting inspirations to go again but this time as hiker!
I worked in Gilgit Baltistan for close to 5 years. The trekking opportunities are limitless. Some of the treks that are in the restricted areas are absolutely out of this world. Some of the most beautiful scenery is in areas ( Diamer District) which are not as peaceful as Hunza, Skardu, Ghizar etc. The Gondogorho LA trek to K 2 base camp ( I have not done it but a friend has) is very strenuous but breathtaking. The Baba Ghundi trek to Karambar Lakes via the Chilingi Pass is another good trek but is in restricted areas. To explore the 72000 square kilometers of Gilgit Baltistan would take a lifetime of trekking.

Lovely video. Hapakun/RBC/Minapin glacier truly are amazing places. Really hope and pray this place does NOT become the next Fairy Meadows which has become trashed/deforested beyond measure. Hope the people of Hunza/Nagar maintain the trail as a hiking trail only and keep Hapakun as a camping only site (and not cut down the surrounding forests to make huts!)
