Honestly, if rivalries weren't a thing the divisions need a shakeup. Some of them make no geographical sense.
Geography isn’t the point
Definitely subscribe to your sentiments, feel the same IE AFC West with KC.
@carterragle5355 love to stay in the past
@@allhailzamasu69 what team do you think I support?
@carterragle5355 I just thought you those old guys who like to keep everything same. Some complain about new uniforms which come on have of the teams can use an upgrade
the fact you put the jags in close to Super Bowl means this video is so flawed
The current NFC North is perfect
Onf
Chokers division: Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers, Buffalo Bills
No falcons?😂
Bluds a falcons fan
Dallas Chokers
This reads more like a tier list than a division realignment
The Jags as "almost" superbowl contender is CRAZY
Thank you!
Focusing on fixing the Geography while maintaining the AFC/NFC:
- NFC East: NYG, PHI, WAS, CAR
- NFC North: CHI, DET, MIN, GB
- NFC South: NO, TB, ATL, DAL
- NFC West: LAR, SF, SEA, ARI
- AFC East: BUF, NE, NYJ, BAL
- AFC North: PIT, CIN, CLE, IND
- AFC South: JAC, MIA, HOU, TEN
- AFC West: KC, LV, DEN, LAC
Alternatively, still focusing on Geography, but using a similar Conference Makeup as the NBA, with the goal everyone in their division plays each other twice (14 games), with three non-division matchups, but still in-conference games.
Eastern Conf:
- North Atlantic: [NE, NYJ, NYG, BUF] [PHI, PIT, CLE, DET]
- South Atlantic: [ATL, JAC, TB, MIA] [WAS, CIN, BAL, CAR]
Western Conf:
- Central: [MIN, GB, CHI, IND] [HOU, NO, TEN, DAL]
- Pacific: [SEA, SF, LAR, LAC] [LV, DEN, ARI, KC]
I made this same exact list in 2022 thinking the same way!
AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts
AFC South: Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins
AFC East: New England Patriots, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens
AFC West: Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders
NFC North: Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears
NFC South: New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys
NFC East: New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers
NFC West: San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals
I can't entirely agree with having Jacksonville and Miami in the same division.
About the same as well. At least five teams need to be put in the right geographical locations and have new rivalries.
This is what I thought this video was. Instead it was a clownshow
Making chargers travel to buffalo and vice versa every year is torture😂
The Eagles in the AFC is a war crime. Sorry. Philly would riot
1000000000% right
As would the fans of every other team in the NFC East. NY versus Philly, Cowboys Redskins, hell everybody versus Dallas or Philly matters. Matters a lot.😢
@@davidtuttle7556 I completely agree. They'd all have to go together. So it'd be better to just leave it. Particularly now that Washington is looking like they have the potential to be in the perennial mix
2:26 there’s no way bro said jamar chase is the 2nd best wr in the league💀
Nah keep the divisions the way they are. The rivalries are already too strong
it's the offseason expect these kind of videos lol
I wouldnt mind shifting things up but there are some teams you just cant split. Splitting the Bears/Packers would be a slap in the face to the NFL. Similar to the Steelers/Ravens and a few others. It would just be wrong to touch some of the older rivalries.
Well, only 5 teams should move. Colts, Dolphins, Ravens, Cowboys, and Panthers.
Jags arent super bowl contenders
Just trying to slide the Jags into the almost contender’s division is crazy😂
Every division update will make the league at its best generation yet!
I'm sure the Broncos, Chargers, and Raiders would love to see the Chiefs not playing them twice a year.
I don’t approve of you leaving out the fact the titans one one drive away from beating Cincinnati in the afc championship game the year the rams won a few years ago
You mean the afc divisional round
Cincy played KANSAS City in the AfC championship game that year
slow video topic day huh ?
Most people: let’s restructure the divisions to have teams in a division be as close to each other as possible.
TPS: Let chaos reign!
Me: I love this.
Ikr
I can only think of the NFC North being the best example of how to group a Division. I'm sure neither team needs to travel more than 7 or 800 miles.
If I were to make a division, I would call it the "Championships are Cursed" Division.
Which means that either their recent championship got an appearance on the Cursed Sports City list or bad things that happened afterwards.
The teams in this division are: The Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and Washington Commanders
I like how the Watson acquisition isn't even mentioned for the Browns. Browns gonna Browns.
Hey, TPS, do you think you guys can do a video realigning MLB, NBA & NHL divisions? After all, you can’t forget about the other Big 3 sports leagues.
I agree with keeping the Bears/Packers together, neither organization even survives without the other in the past. A long history, easy to hate the cheeseheads, but you also have to give respect where its due.
This alignment wouldn't work as when the Browns came back part of the agreement was that the Browns, Steelers and Bengals MUST be in the same division in any realignment. 🏈
Quite an interesting (what-if) alignment
Bucs already proved that they’re relevant without Brady, why does everyone disrespect the Bucs so much?! Brady wasn’t even the biggest part of our success
I honestly don’t give a shit! We have the longest active playoff win drought and Ross is intent on keeping Grier as GM!
The Bills Hate Is Crazy At Least We’ve Been To A Championship Game More Recently Than The Vikings Falcons And Chargers
TPS Y’all Got 0 Football Knowledge😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great upload and entertaining bro 😂
The only trade that sbould , and should've , been made ... Buffalo to the A.F.C. North , with Baltimoe going to the A.F.C East ...
Originally the Ravens were going to be in the AFC East & the Bills were going to be in the North but they put the Bills in the East to still keep the rivalry with the dolphins. That’s also why the Colts are in the AFC south.
The AFC East is the 4 easternmost teams of the 5 teams in their division from the AFL pre-merger. The AFC West is the 4 westernmost teams of their division pre-merger. Moving the Bills would have disrupted 2 rivalries since the AFL started (Jets and Patriots) and one that was about 40 years old (Dolphins, if this realignment was proposed in 2002), so I don't think the NFL wanted to mess with that. That's why Dallas stays in the NFC East - the historical rivalries, as they should be in the NFC South with Carolina being the best positioned team to move to the NFC East.

Super team division not every team will be a super team forever
How the AFC should have lined up….
AFCE - Buff, NYJ, NE, Balt.
AFCN - Cin, Cle, Indy, Pitt.
AFCS - Hou, Mia, Tenn, Jax
AFCW - as is.
First hi love your video TPS and keep up the great work you are awesome and this could work
It looks like you made a tiers video, but tried really hard to dress it as a "We made some new WACKY divisions" video.
Kinda mid tbh
This would never happen but it's funny af
So why wouldn’t you show a picture of all the divisions you made at the end? 11:53
I just think Carolina and Dallas should switch divisions. Geographically it makes sense
I think the Saints should be in the mushy middle instead of Tennessee. They being Tennessee have drafted high before like Top 5 five the Saints haven’t. So other than that if you wanted to swap the divisions that’s fine. Honestly though leave them as is.
As shown with the Texans, a team can rebound real quick; but, they can fall just as quick. No, this idea stinks.
If you talk about one of the biggest Chockers in NFL's History it's the Buffalo Bills in two simple words WIDE RIGHT vs Giants from the 1990's 4:28
The Bucs are not irrelevant. I'm so damn tired of constant disrespect towards them.
Facs bro
As a packers fan id love Dallas in our division along with Pittsburgh and 49ers. Be called the storied franchise division.
The recentcy bias, and the tps bias against some teams(e.g. dallas cowboys) is very obvious here, its so bad
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2 Super Bowl Titles in 2002 Jon Gurden as Head Coach and 2020 with Bruce Arians the 1st team in the Super Bowl ERA to host the Super Bowl in there home stadium 11:40
Rams Won 2 Super Bowl Championships 1999 in St.Louis and in 2021 in Los Angeles the 2nd team in Super Bowl ERA to play a Super Bowl in there home stadium 10:48
TPS, the Saints went 9-8, so I think the Saints rebuild is over.
Colts afc north, Baltimore afc east, Miami afc South. Dallas nfc South, Carolina nfc east
As a Steelers fan we've won 6 Super Bowl's in 1974 1975 1978 1979 2005 and 2008 make no mistake about it we will bring home Vince Lombardi Trophy #7 to the SteelCity in 2024 I don't care about how hard our schedules is the Fact of the matter is that we will PROVE YOU WRONG one way or another come hell or highwater you can bet your candyass that you will SMELL what the Steelers is cookin end of discussion 9:55
Is and the Niners have the best rivalry of all time
The Steelers are stuck in the past just as much as the Cowboys are!
Separation between the rivals that exist would be disastrous!! It takes away all the revenge and hatred fans love about the game. The NFL doesn’t have to be Woke, what’s next? No smack talking and proper pronoun’s when you order a beer!!
So what happens when teams in super and so close division have to pay all there young stars and established star but can't so they become just average or blow it up and
Are bottom 10 do you rotate new teams in
Rest In Piece to the one and only Don Shula he was phenomenal of a coach🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 11:03
The Bengals should be in place of the Ravens.
For the 1 billionth time, Gary Anderson did not cost the Vikings the win! They were up by 7. The defense and Dennis Green deciding to take a chance in OT is what did them in. Quit blaming the kicker
ALL that needs to be fixed in NFL is CAROLINIA & Dallas to SWITCH divisions & geography would make sense
Good video. At least the names are funny and honest.
Let's says Kansas City, Baltimore, Houston, & Buffalo square off in AFC 1.
AFC 2: Cleveland, Las Vegas, Miami, Jacksonville
AFC 3: NY.Jets, Pittsburgh, Denver, Indianapolis.
AFC 4: LA. Chargers, Cincinnati, New England, Tennessee.
Likewise for the NFC
Each division changes every year?
To be fair to pats fans; their success was recent enough to warrant discussion
Wait didn't the browns have like 8 championships before the merger
The only way Baltimore Ravens will be a Super Bowl Contenders beat Kansas City Chiefs or other AFC teams just in case you get back to the AFC Title Game plain and simple 1:00
Not horrible, though I'd hate to see the Steelers Ravens split up as their rivalry is legendary.
I would love to see the Lions and Texans win it's 1st ever Super Bowl Championship in the history of there team franchise existence no doubt 2:06
I would have done the Great Lakes teams.
Good job
New Orleans Saints in 2009 won it's 1st ever Super Bowl Championship with Drew Brees and Sean Payton ERA from 2006 to 2020 11:26
Yeah this is a pretty dumb thumbnail should of called it a tier list
How in the living hell do you bring up the cards last championship and then 💩 on the browns!? They have not only won a championship more recently than the cards but more of them! Then you do the same for the bears.
Incompetence…
I was hype for this video and then you proceed to make terrible picks. Exactly what I’ve come to expect from this channel
Don't remind me of the 2010 year Packers vs Steelers Super Bowl no disrespect but Aaron Rodgers earned my respect ever since he won it with Green Bay so it's all good 10:30
classic tps w zero ball knowledge lmao
My divisions would have had the teams geographically closer where possible, no 2 teams from the same state in the same division and instead of Seattle moving to the NFC, I would have put Cleveland back in the NFC.
AFC East: Baltimore, Miami, New England, NY Jets
AFC North: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh
AFC South: Houston, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Tennessee
AFC West: Denver, Las Vegas, LA Chargers, Seattle
NFC East: Cleveland, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Washington
NFC North: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota (no change)
NFC South: Atlanta, Carolina, New Orleans, Tampa Bay (no change)
NFC West: Arizona, Dallas, LA Rams, San Francisco
WTF the Jags smh, who gave this guy a job?
Lol no dallas fan talks about the past. Its always everyone else
Bengals are 0-3 Super Bowl wise lost to all 3 California teams the 49ers in the 1980's and 2021 LA Rams 2:18
Mushy Middle Division: New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks
"Browns only won 1 playoff game since 1995"
They moved in 1996 and didn't return until 1999. Hard to win a playoff game when you don't exist. Also, realigning divisions to suit CURRENT team power (many of which changes from season to season, just ask Houston) is dumb. Better realignment would be to fix travel issues and have teams closer to each other.
Joe Gibbs was such a phenomenal awesome but a splendid coach to win 3 Super Bowl's in 1982 1987 1991 with 3 different QB's includes Joe Theismann Doug Williams and Mark Rypien 6:48
49ers, packers, seahawks all could be living on past glory as well...ohhh and steelers
This is just a tiers list
And now for something no one is asking for
Edits
Eagles Bengals 49ers Bills Chiefs The
Super Bowl Contenders Division
Cowgirls chargers Falcons Vikings The Choke Artist division
Colts Seahawks Raiders Titans The Mid Division
Lions Texans Jags The So Close To Lombardi Trophy No.1 Division
Giants Redskins pats and broncos the we miss the good ole days division
One day soon my Commanders😢.
And Here We Ago Tps Goes Back To The Buffalo Bills Hate Bandwagon🤡🤣😂
Eagles never making playoffs again. Not even a wildcard after being swept by their whole division.
It should be the bills not the jaguars 😂
They are cool, but wow would they have to travel.
Hell no.
Miami Dolphins won 2 Super Bowl's including the perfect season in 1972 17-0 saids it all then in 1973 they won it again with a better record 10:40
i thought this would be legit but this is just a joke
One of their worst takes all time
Phillys collapse last year shows that they arebin fact not good enough for a "superteam division"
they def r with good coaches
🐻⬇️❗️❗️❗️
No. Just no.
Nah?!
What the hell is this
Slow video week huh?
The Panthers need to stay in Carolina if they do move they should move to south Carolina but stay in Charlotte and keep pounding #
