The furthest distance is an 8 hour drive between Cincy and Baltimore. Obviously all the teams are flying a lot but Buffalo is kind of remote, it makes more sense for them to be in his Great Lakes Division.

Miss Tampa they were our fifth team despite thier early struggles by thier fourth season they made nfc championship game. Wish we could get Tampa or Dallas in NFC North Dallas has had good rivalry with Vikings since the 70s they met often in postseason whoever won was SB bound. Both teams made frequent appearances in that game only one time through the decade wAshington did a outside team make sb. Later pokes built up one with packers.. the nfc north is only division where the chief rival for every team is the bears. Wonder who chief rival for bears? Just a thought. Can be outside of division they had a heated rivalry with Duluth Eskimos/Washington redskins now commanders. Vikings tried to do an alternative Eskimo uniform nfl stopped them saying trademark belong to Washington. When they folded they were sold and turned out to be redskins upon deeper research. Loved the Eskimos uniform my grandfather had an original uniform in glass. If not the Bucs or Dallas would be Denver if we’re going by proximity.

I've always wanted this as a Dolphins fan. The ONLY reason we are still in the east is because of the Buffalo Rivalry. But we could keep that as a guaranteed game every year like the chargers. Dolphins should be in the south.

@@pheonox14 - Actually, I think New England and the Jets are bigger rivals of the Dolphins than bleeping BUFFALO! But I can certainly understand why Miami MIGHT give a shit about them due to Marino vs. Kelly from back in the day. Otherwise, only the Toronto/Hamilton metro actually gives a crap about the icehole known as Buffalo in pro sports, and even then, the rivalries with metros like Boston, New York, Montreal, Detroit and Ottawa are bigger. Too bad for the Bills that the Argonauts and especially the Tiger-Cats play in the CFL (remember that exhibition game the Ti-Cats won when the Bills were still new in the early 1960's?).

    • @juicyfartsofjimcornette1154
      @juicyfartsofjimcornette1154 ปีที่แล้ว +5

@@NikTheHill7 - The only reason it's "iconic", is because of how NOTORIOUS a franchise the Cowboys are that the northeast metros are willing to make an acceptation of having a Texas team in their division. Tell me, how big is the Rangers "rivalries" with the Yankees, Orioles, and Red Sox; the Mavericks "rivalries" with the Knicks, 76ers, and Wizards; and the Stars "rivalries" with the Rangers, Flyers, and Capitals?
Remember, your original GM, Tex Schramm was a master POLITICIAN that managed to successfully get the Cowboys into the East in 1961 (after playing in the West in 1960), and has been there ever since. His successor, Jerry Jones is "meet the new boss, same as the old".
Personally, I'd like to know, which *longshot* scenario is more likelier to happen? Dallas moving to another division, or Dallas relocates to a northeast city like Hartford or Quebec?

Great thought experiment! Instead of reinventing the wheel, I would have Dallas n Carolina swap. That alone fixes NFC. As for AFC… Dolphins joins South, Colts joins north, and Ravens joins East. Keeps consistency n allows for closer teams.

This video reminded me of a video I saw from I think the official TH-cam channel of the NFL maybe was actually from the NFL website I don't remember, but they had somebody come on for Earth Day to realign the divisions. I don't recall exactly how they were all realigned. I don't believe it was the same as you like I think both the LA teams were in the same division, but to be honest I have to look back in and find out. I also think both the Texas teams were in the same division in that realignment but it was really interesting to see how you realigned it this time.

Having the teams be located as close as possible is a cool idea. Like you said this is actually more eco friendly, and would even save teams money on traveling (owners are always cheap, even if they are billionaires).
I don't think both NY city teams should be in the same division, that's just like giving each of them an extra home game every year, not fair to the rest of the league competitively.

    • @clarkrobb6573

AFC South: Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins
AFC East: New England Patriots, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens

NFC South: New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys
NFC East: New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers
NFC West: San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals

Alright everyone, listen up! We all know the Dallas Cowboys are NOT leaving the NFC East as none of the NFC East owners would agree to it (especially the Jones' themselves). The question is this. Which LONGSHOT scenario is more likelier to happen,
    a) The Cowboys moving to another division,
    or
    b) The Cowboys relocating to a northeast city like say, Hartford or Quebec?
    Post your response.
