Wow I stopped playing the game for about a year. I think I stopped a little after the first aniversario but I am a day one player I played the game for months after it launched. I feel so nostalgic already for a game that isn’t even that old lmao

@@DienerNoUta Taku Inoue is known for his music contributions towards IdolM@ster and Tekken as a composer and arranger when he worked at Namco Bandai Game Studio (NBGS) from 2009 to 2018. He left NBGS for TOY'S FACTORY shortly after to be one of the in house composer/producer.
Did he participate in Tekken 7? The songs in this game are my favorites,Especially the closing song "im Here"

To the English listeners who are wondering what the lyrics are about:
daoko's first album was Hyper Girl, released under LOW HIGH WHO? productions. She had many fans that liked her soft voice and quiet rapping. At 2:20 she says that the only reason she was able to come this far is because of her unique ("weird") music.
After a few years, DAOKO slowly started to move her genre closer towards pop. An approximate turning point would probably be when she released her single ShibuyaK. A greater turning point would be Fireworks with Yonezu Kenshi.
Though she made new fans through her new style, she also lost old ones. I personally preferred her old style a lot more. The song is mostly about her public image vs her self image. She's self-aware that singing pop songs isn't exactly cool, but she states "if it sells, you won't have to struggle right?"
Edit: gonna highjack this comment. Guy who made the character design for this vid is actually a pretty good artist. His other works are really nice, go check him out. English name: Akane Malbeni
