A lot of people just like to hate on prime. They are doing some thing different and people don’t like it? Change drives innovation. On the other hand, people just like to complain. Shoot all the bows and pick the one you like.
I hated on prime till a buddy told me to go shoot on or shut up lol. So I went and shot a prime revx 4, and barring something amazing I will probably own one before too long lol.
I have an inline 5 and love it ! I shot the revex it is very smooth and if I closed my eyes and shot it I couldn’t feel anything it had no vibration! I love prime more people need to shoot them I think they will be impressed
Excellent review. I love ❤️ that you talk about being able to do it yourself. Shot 2 Primes this weekend and it's a beautiful bow. I shoot a Bowtech Reign 6. Love this bow as well. Prime has hammered penny as a finish. So when the mouse gets some cheese. Keep up the most excellent channel.
This is my next bow just ordered one through my local dealer fits me better then other bows that I’ve shot love the sight window and the way it holds on target, love the draw cycle and back wall.I’m partial to the grip as well…..
MFJJ For giggles you should at the end bottom out the limb bolts and then re-check speed My guess is the” specified speed is with limb bolts bottomed out
I really want this bow. I've heard amazing things about prime and how they compare to Matthews and Hoyt. In the end they are all very close in price so how do you choose? Is it customer service that sets them apart or is it lifetime strings or is it more bang for the same buck?
I bought a PRIME Black 3 a couple summers ago after running the same PSE Fire 🔥 Flite 33 for 14 years. I like my newish bow, but was interested in seeing what your thoughts were on and findings on this new Prime were. Thanks for sharing.
Crazy that this bow came out faster than the new RVX 34 that has the same cam system and an advertised 2fps increase in IBO speed… Wonder what changed? 🧐 Maybe I need to keep my Revex and pass on the new model.
I had a Black 1 and just couldn't love it. I hated the heavy draw cycle. Even at 65 pounds it felt like over 70. And it was loud. I think the draw specific mods are a step backwards for Prime. I'd much rather see different cam size options or adjustable mods with a smaller range to optimize speeds.
I wish you'd do one on how to make killer strings like dude I got a mind so close but I'm having a little bit of trouble I've spoke with you personally on the phone about this type of stuff yes I just need to call you again cuz I'm still having a little bit of trouble man and I'm not trying to compete against nobody here take somebody sales I'm just want to learn correct way I guess I can move out there and work for you then come back home and I'll know I think you should and I think you should do one on strings
I have never owned a bow that shot better or balanced better than my Prime Inline 3. I can give two craps about "vibration" on a bare bow. That is a sales point for people that don't know better. Lastly, IBO speed IS NOT: 30" + 350grain arrow + 70# = Speed. That is ATA speed and my Inline 3 matches its published ATA speed. I have never seen a bow truly IBO speed tested in a review. IBO is: 80 pounds +/-2 lbs with a 5 grains per pound of draw weight arrow (does not include the poundage fudge room) at NO specified draw length. FMJJ should know this. To IBO test the RevX4 you would have to set it at max draw length, 72#, and a 350 grain arrow.
Why don’t manufacturers advertise a more accurate speed rating? They know everyone is doing reviews on their new bows. It’s a negative when the bows shoot slower than advertised. A slower rating that reviews accurately would be a positive in my opinion.
Boomer, Check into cam lean, it causes left /right oscillations on the nock of the arrow as its released. On your favorite bow you can only center it at full draw or at rest. These guys have close to true center thru the whole draw cycle.
Yeah because every other prime before that was known for being super quiet 🙄. This new Revex puts all other prime’s before it to shame in pretty much every way except draw length adjustability!
@@Cody_Austin quietness isn’t a selling point for me the other primes that has the dual cam system where much more atleast from my pov where way more forgiving Stable and accurate
I’ll take a well balanced prime over a top heavy Mathews any day. Great review.

The review I’ve been waiting for, thanks!
So they improved their speeds while also making the draw smoother? Not sure why people would think that's a flop.

They do have very good grips.
Love prime bows
Don't forget to add 1.5 fps for the whisker biscuit, so that puts it into the 10 fps variance.
I shot one and it's better than my Inline 1 in every aspect. The 32 will be my Christmas present.
love the how-to's. thank you for all the content and knowledge sharing.
Thank you for your honest review.
Good looking bow! Still love the man cave!
Always wanted a Prime. Definitely a good lookin bow

Are you going to test the Darden prelude?
Any plans on doing a review on the new Darton prelude?
For an extra 1", you're like to get about 8fps (10 absolute tops). It won't be anywhere near 15fps.
Great review . You really need to do an episode on your cave !!!

I have a 2016 prime rival. No reason to change ~Tac driver.
Will you ever review an APA bow?
I need to go to Spokane for attention to detail like this
Why don't you tune each bow you test...I know it's time consuming but that's the only way to test it properly
Do you know what the color pattern is for this bow?
You say that on the reflex it's two and three quarter. So probably a forgiving bow. I wish she was forgiving of my two and three quarter.

Maybe I need to keep my Revex and pass on the new model.
Do you have any Mathew’s 27.5 draw used for cheap?
15fps with for 1" draw is Very generous. Is that a new Flexis dampener or did you cut the bottom weight off?
It’s new like that
Sweet bow
I’d run this with 80 pound limbs elk and bear bow. Maybe it’ll have the speed for mule deer
Prime is in their prime?
How heavy was the arrow?
No bow ever shoots as fast as they advertise
What is the riser reflex?
If they want to make a bow that isn't a dedicated draw length then they should make it so u have every module from 26"-31".
They only shipped the bow to dealers initially with 29” mods for test bows. They should have all the other mods available soon.
Which bow is MFJJ most excited about this year?
I bet it’s Mathews I think he is a fan boy of them
Are there draw stops on both cams?
Yes

Try the Revex I think you'll be amazed at the difference

First babyy!!
What happened to having 23 cams?

Comes from factory rubbing on draw. Then they get 15fps credit for 1” of draw length. You tried hard to make it look good….
Give me an old bow then im shooting a hoyt vipertech from 05
fix your audio

Problem is there’s no accountability!
Modules are fun🙂...
Not wise to make bows with a module per length in this era, at worst give it some limited adjustment.
Yeah, I mean it killed Mathews’ sales……
Another flop by Prime lol. Maybe next year they will go to three cams on each axle lol.

Bruh, Prime bow best bow I have ever had. Didn't like the Inline as much as my Nexus.
Nobody asked for fixed mods again, no one! Prime is moving backwards with technology when mostly everyone else is moving forward(except mathews).
Mathews has fixed mods...🙄
Prime went downhill when they came out with the inline
Very disappointed with prime
