I am learning about your story in no chronology. I'm an Aussie 31 year old dude who used to bang up drugs and have been in remission from addiction for years. Your smile makes me smile! I am a fucking spinner myself and I don't go to NA but know you're in a good place with your coping mechanisms. Everyone has insecurities, try to not be overly critical of yourself. :) Progress takes time but is rewarding as you'd know. :)

Hilarious! The last times I quit coffee was in the winter in Ohio which is depressing, the construction work was slow, so I was broke, and at the time there was Country Music television which played country music all the time, no internet, and I would tear up listening to sad country songs. I don’t own any country music cds either so I must have had some type of paralysis. And I’m pretty determined and tried to stick it out for a month but I never got better. I never turned the corner and I gave up and started drinking coffee at which point I immediately felt better.
What helped me to quit caffeine was to drink so much that it gave me a panic attack and then I became too afraid to consume any caffeine at all and now I have one tiny cup of coffee in the morning and only drink water otherwise lmao

Caffeine is also super bad for anxiety! I had to cut it out. Worse than weed for me lol
Just alternate your coffee consumption between Decaf & Coffee. Until you're used to that.
Then slowly increase to, 2 decaf 1 coffee and so on.. Simples..
ur skin is glowin (esp at 15:37!) beautiful!
This is why i don't take any substance that can be addicting
no coffee, no sodas, no alcohol or smoking or drugs.

I couldn’t do this lol the second thing I head for when I wake up is the coffee machine in the morning lol. And I’ve had caffeine withdrawal headaches and it feels awful like your heads going to explode. Oh and the first thing I go for in the morning is my medication lol.
