Yeah that's true and mileage would always vary a bit based on several other conditions as well, like your weight, your suspension setup, your tyre pressure, your other luggage/pillion weight loads, road conditions, elevations, everything matters.. so this is just a suggestion to everyone not a guarantee that you will only get this. 😊

If your area has a lot of monstrous speed breakers, and pot holes, then you can consider other bikes. Cause the ground clearance is kinda low in this bike for village roads.
That's the quick shifter light. I was using both the clutch and also quickshifter+ parallelly, so. Nothing to worry. It's not a warning, just letting you know that you need to stick with quickshifter.
Duke 250 is the most comfortable one here in the city because of its seating position and light weight. Mileage wise R15 might give a slightly higher number, but 250's mileage is pretty decent too at 32kms/l. So my choice would be Duke 250. Hope it helped! 😊👍
In street bikes, it's better to slow down when that starts to happen. The wobbling I talk about is the death wobble. Don't take any risk. It depends on the air, the road, tyre pressure, tyre grip, more than the speed. So it may happen at 120 or 140 also, but when you feel like, just reduce the speed, because very quickly it will lead to a crash.

It's by design for all naked bikes. In supersports you have option to go for steering damper because of its clip-on handlebars, and though you get the same for regular handlebars it just wont work that well. But for smaller bikes like 390, you don't need to really worry about tank slappers, duke is all about peppiness it's not that pulling at higher revs like a 4cylinder super sport.
I specifically took the 250 though I had the budget for 390. So I would always go with 250 for everything.. anything more than this I would only choose a multi cylindered faired bike, which I could use it dedicatedly for the track and highways.

No probs. Always happy to help. In 390 if you have to ride in low speeds then you have to be either in 1st gear mostly or shift to 2nd. Anything above that you might have to shift gears properly else it will start knocking. The point is, with 390 you always have to be in the right gear most of time, but in 250 you can just have a relaxed ride, plus the 250s clutch action is feather soft which is a boom in bad traffic. This was one of the primary reason for me to not take the 390 as my purpose for a duke was to primarily ride only in the city traffic and occasionally take it to tours.
Agreed, but for bs6 duke 390, you don't need a fuel of higher RON. Normal would pretty much do it. Our fuel is bs6 just like our engines. Hope it helps.

250 is a really good all rounder which you can own. It has enough power in highway and cities, real good mileage, though it's a sport naked, with some accessory attachments, like the ones I have it's a really good tourer as well. So 250 is what I would recommend. But if you are mad for power, then you can take the 390, mileage would be somewhere between 20-25, but it's really good one too. Hope it helped! 😊👍

If you are into raw power and that's the only thing which matters to you, no matter how much it vibrates or heats up, then you can very well take the older versions. Because this bs6 avatar is all about refinement and heat management, and I have to say that the difference is night and day compared to the older versions 😊

If you have the right preload, then it won't be that much of an issue. I recommend either 6 or 7 with pillion and 3 or 4 without one. Hope it helped! 👍

Please use premium fuel with high octane number, as it is a high compression engine
