      Hey Beyer, I love your headphones and once I own 4 of them, and I own a beyer dynamic mic. But this time I think the m70 sounds harsh and lack of low end. Wandering why it designed like this way. Thank you.

    • @insanejughead
      @insanejughead 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jyun7360 I have a suspicion that they made it so because people tend to put their mouths right on the end of the mic when using them for streaming/podcasting, and their design choices limit the low end boominess for those users.
      I could be wrong, and that's fine. Let's hope they answer us!

    • @jyun7360

      @@insanejughead Maybe you are right, but the m90 is absolutely a normal standard sound.

      would be good to compare to Sm7b and even the new Audio technica 2040 that seems doing the job for under 100 euros / dollars...
      Also i wonder if those mics working good for home studio recording ( Rap or different vocals etc... )
      I was thinking' maybe that would make sense since the mics are conceived to be relatively tolerant to difficult environment and be permissive

    The m90 pro x sounds amazing. I might have to grab one as my only mic right now is a workhorse sm57. I’ve been really impressed with the build and quality of the 900 pro xs which is making me even more interested in the m90

    The M70 is the star of the show for me. It sounds really nice and is fairly reasonably priced when you compare it to the SM7B or RE-20. It actually reminds me a lot of my ancient M99.

    Lewitt sounds bright and clear to me. But M90 PRO X, has low clear tones and sounds more velvety.
    You have a remarkable voice. Congratulations!

    Great video! That noise sounds like electromagnetic interference, and I wonder if your Dynamite is picking that up. Might also be the SM7B, though that supposedly is shielded. I have the same problem with dynamic microphones in my space, where the breaker box is 8-10 feet from where I'm usually recording.

    I like them both. M70 is brighter with higher articulation or intelligibility but also has a more tendency towards sibilance. I wouldnt call your speech sibilant but going back and forth between the two, there's a lot more "sissss" on the M7p Pro X. I'm using a Sennheiser e935 vocal mic and they sound pretty similar to me. It's a nice mic. I think I'll get one - been looking for a "Broacast" mic.

    Loved the review! 👏 I really liked how full and pleasant the M70 sounds, even though the SM7B felt more detailed sometimes, definitely considering it if it works well with Guitar Amps
    The M90 sounds quite well too, although at least I couldn't hear much of a difference with the Lewitt, maybe that's a good thing? But not as impressive to me as the M70

    Both mics are very close in texture but M90 is little bit more punchy in low and low mid frequencies so that emphases Highs frequencies with lesser siblances where the LCT is little bit more brights in mids and highs but also fewer punchy in low and low mids. It depends of the mic distance is the voice recorded as well. The M90 pro will be lesser punchy like LCT if you get back little bit more and so the High mids and highs will be little more bright and at the end very like the LCT. Both of them could be very usefull anyway for different kind of voices i think. One important think for me the M90 pro frequency range start at 20 hz compare to SM7B,. I ordered yesterday the M90 pro. ~ Also, the M70 pro should be good for recording vocals and singers. I really want to try it with some voices. The M70 Pro won t be a wrong investment. .

    Both good mics but i think sm7b suit your voice better. For spoken word i think is less fatiguing to listen, also more resonant and warm. Cheers.

    I really liked the m90 pro, as someone who tried lots of microphones i was shocked by the quality of this microphone, i think you can only find an equal in 500-700$ price range
    For 300$ it's a must have for me❤ I'll get it asap
    Thanks for the review

    How does the M70 sound with the Shure's wind shield? The gooseneck filter may not be suitable/desirable for some streamers

  • @insanejughead
    @insanejughead 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I enjoyed the fact that you didn't just attack the mic for having a difference to the Shure.
    The M70 sounds WONDERFUL on your voice.
    Plus, you gained my sub for your attention to detail!

    Is the M70 better in speech recording and voice over than the RØDE NT1A?

  • @CMedia87
    @CMedia87 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm my observation the m70x came in hot but that could be because of inaccurate gain marching, the m70 didn't really handle the plosives and siblances to well. The shure sm7b was warmer and present in the midst, also the plossives ect were handled better. Imo

    The high frequencies of your voice sound much more balanced and delicate with the LCT 540S, at least your voice does.
