They both boil down to personal preference and your own voice. Some announcers with a baritone voice may prefer the crisp intelligibility of the Beyer mic. It’s a great deal for the 99 bucks on sale now. The Rhodes is a classic. With all that processing gear you have in your studio you can always season to taste any microphone and tailor your adjustments.

Thank you for the comparison. Maybe go with a 100 Hz HPF with a plugin in post for the Procaster? I'm disappointed that the Beyerdynamic is so bright. I use a Procaster and like it. The Sennheiser E935 is an amazing mic for voice but people think it's just for on stage. I've used it for voice overs and thought it was excellent.

I think the M70 Pro X sounded surprisingly good with your voice. Its pronounced top-end didn't sound too harsh. But yeah, it was missing low-end, and what you said goes in line with what I have heard so far and what other people say. Just saw another comparison, and the Procaster was the winner for me, I even liked it better than the SM7b. With your comparison tracks, I'd also say the perfect sound would be right in the middle between the two mics.
