Thanks for a great video back before a lot of changes at Redfern. Wondered why a couple of V sets actually stopped and picked up/ set down at Redfern or maybe just one? The other spotter disappeared at one time but then came back later. Someone said you did this over more than one day? I am keen to check out Redfern once I can be sure of lifts to a few platforms. I appreciated a few minutes of the underground platform. Well done!

Never knew redfern could only handle 160m trains. (SP6 for v sets). I always thought it could handle all 8 cars. Certainly explains why so many intercity services don't stop there
Ah yes, my area! I technically live in Waterloo (but I do live close to the border with Redfern) which I have lived at for 20 years now. At the same time, I also seem to live close to the area where Green Square is, so call me inbetween. Shame I’ll probably be kicked out into a less desirable place because of Metro construction, which means getting rid of historic buildings for new flashy ones.

Some people think that redfern has only 10 platforms but they are wrong it has 12 platforms

Platform 1 has a car marker that says 10DD so that would be the only platform that could fit an 8 car V Set.
Because V sets are much longer than a normal suburban train.
