- This is sample footage using the Sony ZV-1 shot in Norfolk, England, in September 2021. This video shows how this camera can be used for more than just vlogging. I believe this camera is underrated and needs to be given a second look.

Thank you! I certainly can, I can make a video for it showing how it was done. I didn't use a gimbal, all hand held!

How do you do that reveal with the out of focus foreground moving to the side. I love the Norfolk reveal
Thank you 🙌 It’s quite simple really. Get close to your foreground subject, zoom out to your background subject and lock focus on the background. You should get the results you want 👌🎥

Nice shots. Love the movement of the camera. I notced 1:45 the movement is not smooth. I have the same problem too. Do you know how to fix it?

The sky looks so washed out....would an ND filter make the sky detailed ?
There's always a balance to be struck when exposing a shot. Add more ND and the shadows in the shot are lost. Reduce ND and the highlights are blown out. The ZV-1's dynamic range is good - but the sunset shot is always going to be tricky! It can be edited in post using colour grading tools, but for this video, editing the image won't show the results out of camera. So I guess that's why the sky will be exposed in the middle.
