    Buenos dias. Estimados, esta prueba se puede realizar con un sensor triaxial?.. EL equipo Va4pro tiene la posibilidad de realizar la prueba con una maquina en funcionamiento?.

      Hello. Bump test is one channel measurement. Result will be the same on all 3 channels if you will measure with triaxial sensor. See this video about measuring bump test on running machine: th-cam.com/video/no03XOy0cvU/w-d-xo.html

    Hi, may I know is it a must for bump test results to be in g instead of mm/s?

      It is not a must. I depends what physical quantity you prefer and which one is suitable for particular application.

    Hi, which parts of a motor should we perform this bump test?

      Resonance frequency is the same within the whole structure. Therefore it does not really matter on which part you perform the bump test. However you should select a few points on the motor and measure FFT on them. For bump test then select point where you see the biggest response of your knocking in FFT.

      @@AdashCompany When u mentioned "whole structure", does this include the DE & NDE end shields as well? Is the motor four feet the best place to conduct the bump test?

      ​@@MrICE003 If you mean NDE fan cover which is made from weak metal sheet, then the answer is NO. It must be solid part of a machine body. You contacted also us via email so lets continue there ;-)
