    Good evening Arnie and Lynn. I love the rain gauge Arnie made. It is perfect. The sheep love their air conditioning. Eating their yummy hay and they have a romantic setting. Awww love seeing Gladiator checking the girls doing his job. Knockout is busy doing the job he is hired for. A good boy. Leonard is such a good boy standing for some more trimming. Such a pretty boy. The lambs having a mad run was so cute. Interesting about the tape worms life cycle. I didn’t understand that the larva were in the tiny segments in the poop. That lamb was really concerned about where everyone went. She was calling. Cupcake is so pretty. Pretty cool to see Sheila again. Katie is sitting there so sweet. A real doll. The wind kicking up might be rain. Thanks for the great video. Big big hugs. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

    Nice video. Very positive and happy compared with most media these days. Love that you love your sheep. Weather prediction in Texas is just as poor lately. They rarely predict rain which we really need, yet we have been blessed with a small amount of rain each week so far this summer. At least your temps are reasonably normal!

    Great video, happy holiday! I've noticed our sheep are running and playing since the days are cooler and getting shorter, it's nice to see. Another note concerning sheep tapeworm. Over time, sheep develop immunity to tapeworm so it primarily affects lambs or sheep who have never had exposure. Lambs do not get passive immunity through the colostrum for tapeworm. They develop their own after exposure to them. Thanks again for another great video

    • @EwetopiaFarms
      @EwetopiaFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Another interesting fact. It is true that we don't see tapeworms often in adults. And how would a lamb become immune to them if they eat the larvae?

    Good Morning Lynn & Arnie. Thanks for another great video!!! Loved watching the ewe lambs running and playing outside. So cute the way they would stampede around to each area each one had a look of excitement on their faces.
    The new shears you got seem to be working really well, Leonard is looking really good with the hand shearing. Thinking his legs and belly area are going to be the hardest to do.
    Do you think a coyote might have come around the area and kill the pigeons? Not sure if a raccoon, or possum would actually kill the bird’s? The cats might have killed the bird (I know our car used to kill scissor tailed birds and bring them to us). Just a thought!?!
    Have a great week!!! 🐑❤️🐏❤️

      We found two more dead pigeons today. They are way too high up in the rafters for any animal to get them. It will for sure be either a hawk or an owl. Another clue is that there are no birds in any of the Coveralls now because they know it is a trap 🙂

    Hey Lynn, Do you know the weather reporters only get it right about 30% of the time? So many times they didn't get it right here where l live. These days you don't know what you'll get until you open your door!! ❣🌴

    I can't believe how big cupcake has gotten, i love her little black freakles on her face. Yep, it is tornado season, we are getting the wind and rain that goes with it here in N.H. I wonder what winter will be like?

    Just curious, have you ever bought salt that has garlic added to it? Sheep love it apparently, and are attracted to it. Garlic makes their digestive system a place worms don't like. It also helps with fly control.

    • @justinanovak8040
      @justinanovak8040 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are using (for the 2nd year) a garden garlic spray to keep away the misquitos… the first few days are a little stinky but it seems to work well. Hadn’t heard of garlic added to salt for animals. We are trying some treats for the cats that are supposed to keep away the fleas.

    • @EwetopiaFarms
      @EwetopiaFarms  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, we have never done that. I don't know where you would get all that garlic from as they go through tons of mineral each year and what would a healthy dosage be?

    • @BroqueCowgirlHomestead

    We had tornado warnings on Monday from Binghamton on up to the Adirondacks.
    And they ended up having a tornado with 140 mi an hour winds. About an hour north of us.
    I think our weather forecasters have been pretty good but the weather has not. Not the best weather for trying to get dry hay, but the corn and soybeans really look good this year.

    • @EwetopiaFarms

    How do the sheers handle? Are they hard on your hands? Maybe they’re meant more for fancy trimming, like getting ready for a show? I’m super worried the sheers will hurt you or a lamb and it will be my fault but you seem to be perfectly skilled with them. 🥺 Take care.

    • @EwetopiaFarms
      @EwetopiaFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They work fine but maybe an inch or two too long. However, they seem to cut well. No one will get hurt because I am extremely careful. I got more wool off Leonard again today with them!😁

    I'm from Indonesia, very interested in your ways of raising sheep and you are so compassionate towards the sheep you have.
    please provide information, the sheep are exported to any country.
    Farmers in Indonesia are currently importing Dorper and Suffolk sheep from Australia.
