One tip, if you snag at the bottom and were able to get free, retrieve the jig and drop again. Since the boat drifted a lot, your line will not be vertical and the chances that you get snagged again is very high.
Got an estimated 75 lb. amberjack off of Jupiter about 10 years ago. We had to chase it with the boat three times to keep from getting spooled. Your battle in this video brought back memories of that fish (which we released). It was mid-July and I was drenched in sweat after the 40 minute battle.
That squid lure was getting smashed. Some of the most violent strikes you could ask for. Not a bad looking boat either. Thanks for taking us along once again 😎
3:53 , secretly tagging the hotspot? 😂 my bad, u turn that thing off, right? by the way, what a best day of jigging & squidtexing 🤩🤟🏽 thanks for sharing with us
Hey, love the video! There is no doubt in my mind that first "red snapper" is 100% a yelloweye snapper. It has yellow eyes (red snapper have red eyes) and it doesn't have the distinct red snapper coloration (it is more pink than red and has a different pattern sort of). Still, good on you for releasing the fish when you're not absolutely certain what it is. Tight lines! Edit: watching further into the video, the second and third ones you say is a red snapper is for sure a red snapper, so good job there
Been wrapped up in the campaign and election for awhile. This is the oldest video of yours that I had not seen. But rest assured, I am still loyal to you and will be watching every single video that I've missed! Will take a while, but it will happen. Great video of course.
Awesome, great action, new species and a sweet boat. I assume about 30+ feet with what I assume are 4, 250 horse Yamaha motors. 1000 HP...oh yeah! Why did u throw back the snapper? Is the season closed?
Olive oil doesn't belong with fish! Use a better oil. You'll thank me later. I like peanut, coconut or canola for fish. I just think olive oil has is own taste that distracts from the fish.
False...pull up...reel on the way down...lines always tight....watch Any fishermen in the ocean who's got a big fish... None of them just reel😂... Tell us never fished for a big fish without telling us you've never fished for a big fish😂
You should remove the music from your videos. It was always nice hearing the ocean vs the massage therapy themed music that’s in them. It’s also hard to hear you guys talking at times with the music over what your saying.
That was definitely a yellow eye snapper 100%
Yep!!!! Could have kept it..and one of the best eating snapper there is.

You killed it homie! It was a blast getting out fished by you🤝💪
Sweet boat, Ryan! ❤

That Sandbar Shark was huge!! 😍❤️
That bottom trick was cool to see. We're still strumming the line and then flipping bail for minutes hoping for a change. Cannot wait to try!
Love the squidtrex and the vibe
Key West is absolute paradise for fishing
Helluva workout! Sweet boat! Great fish! Outstanding video! Thanks brother! ♥
Lol ! That sounded a little dirty, your impressed on how strong your knots are.
Super fun video man! Well done. I also think that you’ve released the biggest yellow eye snapper there.
12:47 , that is a rosy, I caught a ton of them down in the keys deep dropping last time I was there! Great video! Love the content you make!

Rich Brain & Bleed for better flavor before putting them on ice! that makes them closer to "sushi grade" (brain, bled, gutted and flash frozen)
You should show us how you tie your knots
Hello What reel is the one you using ?
tippy top
What pound test do you use with the vibes? I’m surprised they don’t get bit off more cuz of the sharp teeth
Red snapper have red eyes
💙💙💙
Waddup
Did you do any filming when you were in Alaska?
The Squidtrex are awesome lures, only problem is, sharks think they are awesome too!
Hahaha 🤣 yeah for sure
Snags don’t swim towards the bottom 😂

That first "red snapper" was 100% a yellow eye. Compare that fish the second red snapper
bro caught earth
No need to roll up today!! I have 100mg gummies on deck lol. Stay really baked y'all 😂😂
Hybrid fish aren't regulated. There is nothing about hybrids in the FWC's website.
Eat more bots. 😊
First by racial fish ever lmao

You kept losing fish because you’re pumping up and down. All you have to do is reel. Keep that line tight.

Hey Rich, did you edit and produce video?
