We are so sorry for your loss. We can totally relate to being your own worst critic. We often feel the same way about our videos. One thing we try to keep in mind is that even though we want to create good content for fans, at the end of the day we make the videos to preserve the memories we have made with our pups. You may not have made as many videos as you wish you had but what you did make will help Bruno's memory live on forever.
so heartbreaking. poor thing, wish they could tell us what's wrong sometimes. we just love our babies so much and they give us so much love and joy. it's just not fair they are here for such a short time. and allowing your little one the opportunity to say bye is very commendable and definitely the right thing to do.

Thank you for the kind words. I thought about that too, but our neighbors are great: we never had any issues with them. Only way I can think of “poisoned” is if he ate a mushroom or something weird growing? Sometimes we have wild mushrooms in are yard but I never heard of any deadly ones in our area.
@@AllthingsRocco so sorry for your loss…it might have been anything he just picked up, my Rotties puts everything in her mouth…just like a child….I looked up “twisted gut” and it showed similarities with the video of Bruno on his last moments…I had a male Rottie die suddenly and it turned out someone gave him anti freeze …. It’s sad to believe people can be that cruel but it was most likely that Bruno died of natural causes …. I lost my Pitt bull July 14 after having her 11 years….young or old, they leave a hole in your soul when they are gone but we never forget their love….you and your lovely family are blessed to have each other and although Bruno was only with you a brief time, it was precious … he knew he was loved and he was happy thanks to your love….you’ll see him again….our beloved ones meet us when we cross over ….
I replied somewhere other but I see a lot of people are trying to help with diagnosis sometimes it really doesn't matter your dog is gone. I had my fourteen-year- old but I also had a one-year-old, she laid under my Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Normally she woke me up at 5:30 every morning. She didn't wake me up Christmas morning I thought she was tired from all the hustle and bustle. My oldest son woke me up and told me the dog hadn't moved. I went to check on her... it was cardiomyopathy. It is not detectable until they are over a year old. I don't know how diagnosable it is after a year. I would suggest to anyone that they had their dog tested for this as soon as it is able to be detectable

My dog died last year, Every time I think of her My stomach turns and I feel a great pain, as if I want just let every emotion I have out. I wanna yell and cry. I’m still not over her. I've had 9 Rotties since my Dad gave me my first one in 1976 and each one was a special companion and tore my heart out when each one passed. I didn't see TH-cam for a while. Suddenly I started to watch again. And found out this sad news. I really loved Bruno because he reminded me of my sweet rotties I lost before. I am so, so very sorry for you, your family and for sweet Bruno. This is so heartbreaking. My sweet Bella (also a Rottie) died a similar death, in my arms. It was sudden and unexpected. Tests revealed she had Cushings disease, which could have been treated IF we had known; but we didn’t. This is something we don’t forget; but I promise you that Bruno was a very lucky dog to have had you, who loved him so much. He had a super life. He will be in your hearts forever. May you find comfort in the tremendous life you shared. I’m so sorry ❤️. Thank you for having the kindness in your heart to think of those who also loved him by posting this video. It hurts me to see this, because I also have a Rottweiler at home, can you tell me what happened to him? He was a healthy dog how did he suddenly die?
This channel is the perfect example of how dogs, and pets for that matter, are more like family than anything. I talk to my rottie like I talk to a person, because he's like a brother and I've bonded with him so much every since we got him as a puppy. RIP Bruno. You were TH-cam's best dog and extended family to all of us watching.

She is so smart and knew exactly what was going on... she saying his name and pointing at the sky it sounded like she was saying up up like he was on the other side and she was letting you know. The symptoms reminds me of "twisted stomach". My Rottie almost die of it the initial signs were severe panting, he had immediate surgery & survived. Your dog was relatively calmer. Don't be surprised Olivia has visions of Bruno .
We could try to guess all day how sweet Bruno went to heaven. But the fact is is that he's gone and his family is mourning his loss. Let's all respect that and just send them our love. That is tough seeing your kids miss the dog. I feel like it will hurt more when Olivia stops asking where “Bruno go” then when she is asking right now. Granted your kids are probably older, Olivia will likely only have the memories of these videos about Bruno
I’m so so sorry for your loss and I feel your pain. Losing your best friend is one of the toughest things someone who truly loves animals/dogs can experience. I remember losing my two childhood dogs when I was 12. They lived 13 years and died 3 months apart from each other. It was so tough. Your boy was a super intelligent and handsome pup. Sending strength to you. Also so good that you’ve been honest with your daughter, she seems to understand too. I feel like lying to your child about the dog going for a walk or getting lost is just unrealistic and sometimes they need to know that their dog went to sleep forever. Again sorry for your loss x

I've following Bruno's adventures for years, I was always super happy to see that beautiful doggo goofing around in front of the camera...and yeah, I almost felt like I was part of his life and he was part of my life too. I love rottweilers and I wish someday to have one as part of my family, and I hope to be a good owner half of how you were to Bruno. He is now in a better place, up there looking at you and barking with joy that he was able to be your friend...our friend.

My wife wasn't sure about the breed and about getting a dog, but I've sent her all your videos almost daily until she agreed, so thank you for sharing them. And also I'm so sorry for Bruno. It's never easy loosing a friend and part of the family. You might not find another personality like his, but I'm sure that when the time is right you will find another good dog with it's own qwerks.

Sorry for your loss :( Tough animals usually pass like this, everyhting seems fine until something fail in cascade into their bodies. I've lost my beloved cat that way this year. He looked a bit tired from some days, until one day his temperature droped, he was cold and panting, dying in a few hours, just the time for me to get a vet to ease the pain. Your Bruno looked like a very good boy, my taughts to you and your family, it's never an easy moment.
That was such a beautiful tribute to Bruno. I can't stop crying for him. He was a part of our hearts here too, Lexi is 5.5 and now I check/ hug her every time I think of Bruno. You are a great pet owner. I'm glad you captured so many moments. My rottweiler died (cancer) 3 years ago this month and the battle was so difficult in every aspect. Bruno acted so much like my Gypsy and it was a joy watching him. My condolences to your family.

I thought it was just me being silly I've been in a wheelchair for a very long time. I live in senior housing now and they will not permit a dog of that size. I'm not much for little ankle-biters. I lost my Rottie at 7 months too. I’ve never cried so hard in my life.. he was literally my child. We really had a father and son relationship. I still can’t bring myself to look at old photos. I feel your pain. Sending lots of love, they’re in heaven now 🙏🏼❤️
I am so, so very sorry for you, your family and for sweet Bruno. This is so heartbreaking. My sweet Bella (also a Rottie) died a similar death, in my arms. It was sudden and unexpected. Tests revealed she had Cushings disease, which could have been treated IF we had known; but we didn’t. This is something we don’t forget; but I promise you that Bruno was a very lucky dog to have had you, who loved him so much. He had a super life. He will be in your hearts forever. May you find comfort in the tremendous life you shared. I’m so sorry ❤️. Thank you for having the kindness in your heart to think of those who also loved him by posting this video. This channel is the perfect example of how dogs, and pets for that matter, are more like family than anything. I talk to my rottie like I talk to a person, because he's like a brother and I've bonded with him so much every since we got him as a puppy. RIP Bruno. You were TH-cam's best dog and extended family to all of us watching.

She is so smart and knew exactly what was going on... she saying his name and pointing at the sky it sounded like she was saying up up like he was on the other side and she was letting you know. What a beautiful soul he was. May he go forward shining. Please post videos when you can... if you get a new pup etc and let us know how you're doing
The symptoms reminds me of "twisted stomach". My Rottie almost die of it the initial signs were severe panting, he had immediate surgery & survived. Your dog was relatively calmer.

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost one of our dogs a couple summers ago. One of the hardest parts was watching the kids in pain and missing her. I just wanted to take their pain away.
That is tough seeing your kids miss the dog. I feel like it will hurt more when Olivia stops asking where “Bruno go” then when she is asking right now. Granted your kids are probably older, Olivia will likely only have the memories of these videos about Bruno

I’m so so sorry for your loss and I feel your pain. Losing your best friend is one of the toughest things someone who truly loves animals/dogs can experience. I remember losing my two childhood dogs when I was 12. They lived 13 years and died 3 months apart from each other. It was so tough. Your boy was a super intelligent and handsome pup. Sending strength to you. Also so good that you’ve been honest with your daughter, she seems to understand too. I feel like lying to your child about the dog going for a walk or getting lost is just unrealistic and sometimes they need to know that their dog went to sleep forever.

It's so much like when my first Rottweiler Ronnie passed away, Seeing you grieving has brought it all back, it took a year till i didnt at least cry once a day about her, it'll be hard but things will get better.

I've following Bruno's adventures for years, I was always super happy to see that beautiful doggo goofing around in front of the camera...and yeah, I almost felt like I was part of his life and he was part of my life too. I love rottweilers and I wish someday to have one as part of my family, and I hope to be a good owner half of how you were to Bruno.
He is now in a better place, up there looking at you and barking with joy that he was able to be your friend...our friend.

I have been thinking about all of you all week long and how difficult this has been for you and was hoping you were all doing OK. All of used truly LOVED that boy with all our hearts and I always could not wait for a new Bruno video. There is something special about them and their presence. He is probably wagging his his tail, and playing someone nice and peaceful now.... I got to 329/1046, but it feels to sad to see anymore. Your videos are partly the reason I've got a rottie now. My wife wasn't sure about the breed and about getting a dog, but I've sent her all your videos almost daily until she agreed, so thank you for sharing them. And also I'm so sorry for Bruno. It's never easy loosing a friend and part of the family. You might not find another personality like his, but I'm sure that when the time is right you will find another good dog with it's own qwerks.

Sorry for your loss :( Tough animals usually pass like this, everyhting seems fine until something fail in cascade into their bodies. I've lost my beloved cat that way this year. He looked a bit tired from some days, until one day his temperature droped, he was cold and panting, dying in a few hours, just the time for me to get a vet to ease the pain.
Your Bruno looked like a very good boy, my taughts to you and your family, it's never an easy moment.

You are a great pet owner. I'm glad you captured so many moments. My rottweiler died (cancer) 3 years ago this month and the battle was so difficult in every aspect. Bruno acted so much like my Gypsy and it was a joy watching him. My condolences to your family.
I can't stop thinking of you and your family. I hope you are all doing well and healing. I'm still shocked at the last video. It seems like your videos have bought so many of us a so much joy especially those of us who have lost our precious babies. You mentioned you may get another dog. Of course it will never take the place of Bruno, but it will be another loving, gentle giant with its own personality. I hope you will share those videos as well. They bring so much joy into my home. I thought it was just me being silly I've been in a wheelchair for a very long time. I live in senior housing now and they will not permit a dog of that size. I'm not much for little ankle-biters. But watching Bruno gave me some satisfaction and laughter and some great memories of my dogs and children growing up together. Thank you for that. Many thoughts, and prayers
