We loved it!
As you can see in the video, trip was "interrupted" by my (Olga's) declined health condition, but even being admitted to the hospital didn't spoil the memories of this magical, cozy, serene and stunning place. From sunrise to sunset into the night: surroundings, activities, service, food, grab rides, cafes - you name it - we liked it all.
Joe spent lots of time with Stevie riding bicycles, swimming in the pool, playing board games and even playing big tennis!
Would highly recommend both places we've stayed at: Rebak Island Resort and Marina Langkawi and Resorts World Langkawi.
Special thanks to Langkawi Hospital. I (Olga) have been diagnosed with IBD and had acute phase at the time of this travel. We booked tickets way in advance and were super excited about the trip. Didn't expect the severity of the symptoms to become so bad, malnutrition and dehydration to the point I couldn't walk anymore. Lucky for me, doctors at local hospital knew exactly how to help me. Within 6 hours of being in the hospital, they've practically brought me back to life, and with prescribed steroids I was able to accomplish this beautiful trip and even enjoy!
Such a so peaceful & beautiful place. Sometimes have monkey, parrot or hornbill bird frying over at balcony. enjoy your holidays

Just an information for you. Last March, King Herald of Norway had to make an emergency stopover in Langkawi where he had a heart pacemaker implant at Langkawi Hospital that you went.
Oh wow really? That's so cool!!! I guess both me and King Herald are very lucky, because the hospital is very good! I just loved how doctors did the best to get me literally up and running so I could at least finish up the rest of the trip and return home. I believe those doctors saved my life!

2 different types of eagles there ? White and brown eagles...... interesting
I was like "Eagles? Seagulls? Oh, Sea Eagles!" haha
I think white one is called White Bellied Sea Eagle and brown one is Brahminy Kites.
Must be quite costly to stay there..
For the first one, Rebak Island Resort, we paid SGD476 for 2 nights, including buffet breakfast and a boat transfer.
For the second, Resorts World Langkawi - unbelievable price. For 3 nights we paid SGD170, which is SGD56/night.
Value for money 100%

We love Malaysia. Last year we took a road trip from Singapore all the way to Cameron Highlands and stayed in multiple hotels on the way there and back. I'm hoping to edit and release video from that trip soon!
