Happend with me as well recently. My Hero7 black died, all of a sudden it stopped working. Reached out to GoPro support on their website and they called me back after 1-2 days, the lady on call said "there is no option of repairing it and you can check with local 3rd party repair shops if they can fix it" 😂 This brand is in India for more than a decade and still can't get their after sales sorted?
Now I'm patiently waiting for the Osmo Action 5 to launch, haha

Thank you for sharing. Gopro is shitty. I had gp8, its batteries swallen, i sold it out. Waste camera. Heats alot, needs separate adaptor for mic. Adaptor also stopped working after few months

I have been a GoPro user since 2013 and have found their services to be consistently subpar. During my time working for GoPro India, I produced a significant amount of video and photographic content, but payment for my work was sporadic at best. Additionally, GoPro often failed to properly credit my work, which was deeply frustrating.
In contrast, since switching to DJI, I have experienced a marked improvement in the treatment of my work. DJI provides me with a substantial discount of 45% on their products, and I am also given the opportunity to test out their newest products before they are released to the general public.
In my opinion, GoPro is in decline and will likely continue to lose market share to competitors such as Insta360 and DJI. Many content creators are choosing to abandon GoPro due to their poor deals and service.
