But the problem is they burned it so badly you cant bring it back. Even though they tried to rectify it the last 2 movies still happened.
Not to mention theres still the fact that even though Rey is Palpatines granddaughter she still did things that not even Anakin (who had much more raw power then Palpatine) could do until he had been training for several years

I can understand that but I'm talking about things like lightsaber combat moving large objects with the force just general basic force usage
They cheapen not just the Skywalker story with this new trilogy but also everything that it takes to become a jedi or a sith
Another thing to note, because I think Ben missed this, is that the reason why Po, Finn, Rey, and even Han have been so good at piloting the Falcon is because the Falcon has actually been co-piloted by a computer this whole time as revealed by "SOLO a Star Wars Story". Not the greatest explanation and it does seem purposeful that they made the AI female, but it at least gives some legitimacy to it. As for the part where the Falcon is literally on fire, but is then fixed no problem. I don't really see how that's an issue, especially if it is just external, maybe it was internal and I just missed something because I only watched it once, but it seems reasonable from the one time I watched it.

Becomes famous attacking SJWs, gets clicks making videos about how bad their agenda is and how they push it...still pays to see their agendas, and likes it, even makes excuses for it and all while showing he is clueless about Star Wars at the same time? lol...
I do like some of the nostalgia in the movie but imo the overall plot was horrible mainly bc Palpatine’s return is completely rushed through with little thought. There was no explanation to his return it was advertised and revealed in the opening crawl of the movie I understand hes powerful and needed Rey and Ben to fully bring himself back but how? I would have enjoyed the movie so much more if it was explained. Was there a contingency plan to clone himself after ROTJ did he persuade a follower to perform an ancient Sith ritual for resurrection at least to an extent among other plot holes or plot directions this is one of the points that made me have mixed feelings about the movie.

When the Skywalker saga started with a Skywalker and a Palpatine screwing over an entire galaxy and ended with a Skywalker and a Palpatine saving it.
My favorite part was when Rey said “and I am Ironman” and then lando was all to Poe “on your left”
Loved the 3rd post credit scene as well where Yoda found the 97th infinity gem and then Wolverine is like "Do you feel lucky punk?".

I feel like the “filler” movies, Solo and Rogue One, were leagues better than the entire trilogy combined. I mean, Rogue One was a beautiful story about a team of people laying down their lives for a hope of overthrowing a tyrannical government, it’s a heartwrenching film that actually felt consequential, unlike the entire trilogy, where... uh characters do things and save the universe again I guess.

Player One lot of it was Iger pushing for a certain deadline despite her protests. It could’ve worked out better if they had more time. Read into it. I don’t deny she could’ve done better, but a good deal lies on Iger wanting to get a return on investment as soon as possible.

I agree it was very well written and the animation really grew on me. Rebels isnt bad either after season 1.
Star Wars was a nice tale from my youth and that's it. My youth has ended and Star Wars saga has ended. Emperor is dead, so is Darth Wader and we have dancing teddy bears. That's the end. Star Wars movies delivered some fun to my youth. They're not a religion. There is no no Force. There are no jedi knights or light sabres. Disney didn't "desecrate" anything. They tried to make some money and were very successful, by all accounts. They have shareholders to please and that's it. Kathleen Kennedy with her feminist activism has turned those movies into something that I don't find palatable but that is my problem. It looks like Star Wars are being turned into a religion. And we all know that it wasn't Palpatine who was the real intergalactic bad guy. It was lord Xenu.

The part I hated the most is where Palpatine electrocutes a bunch of ships and all those ships end up completely fine with no damage.
I was similarly disappointed about that. Also the fact there are like a billion ships in the sky. I like the space fight at the end of Rogue One more because it felt more Star-Warsy. This space fight felt like taking two giant buckets of Star Wars Legos and just dumping them in a pile. Then when you thought you ran out, somebody just turns around and dumps even more on the floor, lol. My friend said they "dialed the space fight to 11" but they really dialed it to 15, in my opinion.
I remember seeing a bunch of them fall out of the sky, not sure what you're talking about. A lot of them did survive, but then again the falcon has been through worse and survived, so there's that.

And some of the characters like rey could have used better development. Or just have been a Mary Sue character. I thought Finn were And Kylo were the best new characters in the sequels. And Finn should have been the Jedi imo instead of Rey.
The lesbian kissing scene is shoehorned in so that they can just as quickly take it out for the Chinese audiences.

The trailer has Sheev’s voice in it and at the beginning of the movie they show Palpatine, so it’s not really a spoiler because when you watch it that’s what you’d think they mean by Rise of Palpatine. Since Sheev came back it’s literally about the Rise of Palpatine. The viewer would assume that that’s the only meaning of the title, therefore it wouldn’t give away the other meaning of “Rise of Palpatine”. The title should portray the plot, like how “Revenge of The Sith” portrays the plot. It’s not the same thing as a spoiler.

@@kevinzhang3313 noo like flashbacks used in a clever way (the flashbacks in this were just kinda there), or somehow working it into a big reveal that blows ur mind at a pivital point in the story. The way they did it here was terrible. One scene with lighting Rey and then the next Kylo Ren almost literally saying "I know in the last movie I said they were nobody...and I didn't lie...BUT...guess what?" So clunky, it felt so forced
Because it is just entertainment. He had no attachments to TFA and TLJ.

The biggest flaw of this movie: Rey solely defeats Palpatine. So many powerful people have faced Palpatine and died. Not even YODA could defeat him. And all the sudden Rey, with only a couple of years of Jedi training with NO MENTOR, grabs two lightsabers and pushes back his lightning and kills him. Not the ending Star Wars fans deserve after over 40 years of Skywalker films.
The film critics were right Last Jedi was well crafted brilliance and this was just fan service garbage, nothing new or innovating in the film at all, big disappointment.
I just like to think the new trilogy isn’t cannon and it’s simply Disney fan fiction

Anakin, THE CHOSEN ONE trained for 20+ years with the best jedi masters in history, was the hero of a fucking war and fought against very powerful Sith and managed to kill Count Dooku one on one at the same age as Rey. Rey with TWO FUCKING YEARS OF YOGA WITH A LIGHTSABER is already 10x times stronger than Anakin could ever dream to be. So, if she had trained like Anakin did, how strong would she be?
This shows us that feminism is actually way stronger than the force, even in Star Wars.
So they make this character WAY MORE TALENTED than THE CHOSEN ONE, and revived Sidious, who the chosen one supposedly killed to bring balance to the force.

The whole family is having dinner and Sidious/Palpatine, from now on known as 'Grand Pa' is telling his beloved granddaughter Rey the story of how once he got shocked when he saw the white supremacist Anakin Skywalker cutting a friendly Black Man's hand who later on fell through a window. Palpatine's son said:
'Come on dad, every year it's the same, stop scaring the kids, we're just trying to have dinner and celebrate Feminism and Christmas'
Sidious apologized while his wife was holding his hand.
After a very endearing dinner, it was time to open the presents. Family friendly Sidious dressed up as a non-binary transgender chinese woman Santa Claus, to give his granddaughter a surprise. He placed the presents next to the Christmas tree that he and Rey had previously made. When Rey saw the presents she was shocked and euphoric:

FF Sidious and Rey's parents looked at each other with big smiles on their faces, enjoying such a beautiful and endearing time with the family. Brady's Bassin In my opinion Empire is the best Star Wars movie, but I get the most enjoyment out of watching RoTS, partly because I grew up with the prequels, partly for the memes, but mostly because I enjoy the story and the transformation of Anakin to Vader.

I love and respect TESB tremendously, but I still give a slight edge to ROTJ - not just because of the major ass-kicking that Luke Skywalker and the other good guys did in that film, but also because that was the movie where Star Wars fans (at that time) finally got to see Jabba The Hut for the very first time (yuck lol), and plus that Rancor beast was just absolutely BADASS - possibly the most awesome Star Wars creature/monster ever. lol
And the new Death Star, which looked even scarier than the first one, because of it's "deformed" look, was a nice touch too - because it upped the anti.
The Falcon should have gone to Chewbacca, or even Lando, Not Rey.

Neo Kaiju battlefront 2 loot boxes were never buyable cause of the backlash and soon after release they removed loot boxes and revamped the whole system, battlefront 2 is a very good game now
@Harry Engel um people complained that some characters that u had to buy with credits were way too expensive but then they changed the price for them on release. Now they are all free I think. Loot boxes worked where you'd buy one with in game credits and get random ability cards u could level up but once they got rid of loot boxes, it changed the system so that u now unlock points every level with a character that u put towards star cards (ability cards) to level them up and as u level up new cards are unlocked. Its a great game now and worth buying
