This is the greatest combination of weather footage and music I have ever experienced. Those chords behind the vocal melody are so haunting and beautiful I just don't really know what to do with myself right now.
I would say: "Grab your weener and give it a go", but that wouldn't do justice to the sheer and holy beauty of this awesome piece of art. So let's forget about that and turn to plan B, which is: "Watch it again. Again!!"
9 unlikes... 9 people without souls. Mike, you were who made me love storms, tornadoes, clouds, etc., many years ago. Something for which I will be eternally grateful. Keep enjoying & sharing.
Wow... I've never seen time-lapse capture clouds/rain clouds in such an artful way. It almost as if the Earth had been flipped and the ocean now resides in the sky. The rolling clouds looked like waves, disintegrating into sand falling in a timepiece. Just stunning.
This is superbly fabulous, the visuals, the music and the drama of it all! Bravo! I need to learn that song which is beautifully and hauntingly sung. Brava! Thank you!
Every pilot should watch this. So many great examples of how storms start with the darkening build, then verga and then all heck breaks loose across the ground when the rain dumps out and visibility quickly goes to IFR conditions.
You raised the bar, Mr Olbinski. This is fine art; from the b&w, to the editing, to the music, to the choice for color at the end, this is your best storytelling thus far. I found myself shrewdly lead into a pensive journey, breathless, wide-eyed, and then by its end, bereft for wanting more.
The eeriness of the underlying slight dissonance of the chords to the singing, and married with the outstanding photography, literally raised the hair on the back of my neck. Well done.
That Wizard of Oz moment where everything goes into color...holy moly. I thought the B&W was super dramatic, but damn that second half was epic. Well done!
I haven't lived in my home state of Oklahoma (Practically the beating heart of Tornado Alley) since I was a child: But I've never forgotten the truly unparalleled and fantastical storms that form there. This video captures them in such moving beauty and power as to make me achingly homesick. You've earned yourself a new subscriber, especially after I've combed through your other award-worthy time lapses. Well done, friend. Should I wish to revisit my home state when I am unable, I shall simply venture here.
B&W are fascinating, while colors are completely astonishing. I love the 21:9 because it fits my monitor. I also love the turquoise green in the cells. Wonderful works.
That was some incredibly AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Music was great and really loved the black and white treatment A LOT!! Then the speed up at the end - I mean WOW!! This was so AMAZING!!!!!!
@@Elmiklo-k3e i was looking at my comment history and saw i didnt answer this. so, late answer perhaps, but the song is "Last Goodbye", by Eric Kinny and Danica Dora
VYour time lapse photography along with your choice of musical accompaniment is like watching a drama unfold. I have always been fascinated by storms but your presentations have evoked many a gasp from me. Too watch a storm form, see the awesome powers of sheet and cloud to ground lightening, the incredible amount of rain in a micro burst, all accompanied by a well chosen musical accompaniment, WOW! I always look forward to your videos.. keeps me humble. 👍
This was stunning. Honestly man, you put out some amazing content... this is why I have clicked the bell. I'm going to watch again, but it'll be on the big ass tv my husband uses to play video games, lol. Thank you for the video and for your dedication. You are a gem!!
Spectacular music and remarkable footage. Love the idea that this video clip starts as black and white and develops into full color. It's hard to describe it for me, but it evokes some strange feelings such as thrill, anxiety, anticipation and desire to see more! Amazing!
Provocative may be too strong of a word, but that definitely evoked something I’d not normally feel from storm related content. Very unique Mike, well done.
WOW! What a masterpiece! The play with the saturation, fading from black and white to a colorful and warm sunset, just perfect! Brilliant as always, Mike! Thanks so much that was epic
I always get a little verklempt when I watch your work. The extreme beauty of nature, captured by such a talented individual. I love shooting timelapses myself, and you inspire me to work a little harder.
Just WOW, love the added ending with the gentle rumble of thunder and lightning. Was even better watching now that I have a decent 4k monitor, it hit me at the end it all feels like the mother ship is lifting off. Well done man.
This is absolutely amazing Mike. All of your videos are fantastic and this is so immersive, so dramatic and adrenalinic. Perfect the song, a mix of anxiety and dream. Incredibile work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is captivating. The song choice is perfect. Your images make me feel . . . small, reverent, inconsequential, awestruck, part of a bigger consciousness, drawn out of my own body, paralyzed . . . “If I was younger and could run faster I would chase storms.”
Magnificently done. The tension build and switch to color was perfect. Makes me proud to be a patron. Sorry I've missed some meetings, but I'd never miss this.
Love the black and white work--shows so much more depth and detail or at least it seems that way to me. I like contrast and the music choice for sure had some contrast there at the end going from that soft almost lullaby-like tune to a frenetic tempo as the film got faster. Well done, sir.
This deserves a hundred times the views it has.
Thank you Jan!
Mother Nature gives, and only a few like Mike knows the trick of capture for the rest of us. Thank You.
Wow, Mike. Just flipping WOW!!!!
Can I just say... WOW! That. Was. Awesome!
From the camera work to the song choice, it's always a pleasure watching your videos buddy. Stay safe out there and keep the chase alive!
You are the best Cody, really appreciate it!!!

Absolute awesomeness! As always, Mike!
Thank you Melissa :)
@@MikeOlbinski You're very welcome! ❤️
Amazingly beautiful. The photography can stand by itself, without the insipid music.
Every pilot should watch this. So many great examples of how storms start with the darkening build, then verga and then all heck breaks loose across the ground when the rain dumps out and visibility quickly goes to IFR conditions.
Definitely one of my motivations to subscribe and patronize.
Fabulous! Love the black and white beginning and then perfectly timed color

Masterpiece! So interesting how powerful the reemergence of color is at the 3 minute mark.
The shot at 3:16 is unbelievable. The sun, the colors, clouds, it's unreal. Great video.

En noir et blanc et avec ce choix de musique en accompagnement c'est juste top ! 🤗
