    I don’t understand people who say “those are just clouds”. This is one of the most gorgeous wonders of nature and when you get videos like this, you really appreciate its beauty! Awesome as always Mike, it didn’t feel like a over 9 minutes long video at all, it went by WAY too fast!

    So...
    This is beyond stunning.
    I'm almost in tears, I can see things in your videos that I watch from the deck of my boat, and what you have done confirms so much that I thought I was seeing.
    Watching a storm directly your mind seems to relax at times and you can see all of the movement but as soon as you notice it's like you are looking at a still.
    You make this not only easy to see and understand but get all of the beauty as well.
    Thank you for making these, they are some of the best things I have ever seen.

    This right here is a work of art. Stunning, breathtaking, mesmerizing. Simply put, a masterpiece.

    • @oldguy-db1qk
      @oldguy-db1qk 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree totally about the music Mike uses in his films. He seems to have as good of an ear for music as he does eyes for his photography. I have viewed this film at least a dozen times and find myself as mesmerized as the first time I saw it. I literally sat there with my mouth open and tears in my eyes. The music by Peter Nanasi is nothing short of brilliance and masterful. If you haven't seen Mikes Monsoon IV yet then you should. Peter's music in it is as stunning as this, maybe even better.

    2:43, there is a rapidly growing Cumulus tower, and if you watch extremely closely, at the top right, just after the updraght hits the upper Troposphere, there appears a thin layer of... "something". This "something" can be seen elsewhere in this clip. I wonder if it's the heavy hail being "ejected" out of the top of the cloud, beyond the less-dense saturated airmass that once carried it. I can find no other examples of this.

    • @MikeOlbinski
      @MikeOlbinski  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Pfoaaah, you outdone yourself on this one, i'm blown away! The music in contrast with the timelaps shots gave me goosebumps several times in this edit. I followed you for a while now but you reached another level of cinematography, this is top notch! Lets get this video to a million plus views people, this guy deserves it! :D
