For Arnor I did this with EUR mod and did a mad conquest of all the north and destroyed the ring gundabad Angmar etc but EUR makes life so much easier loving the campaign keep up the great work
@ I took out the goblins built up eco I sold Metraith for good money to bree although you don’t have to do this held the goblins back then tried to rush Tharbad to hold Dunland there and ignore the rebel regions of Fornost and Annumuninas as they hold back Angmar for decent time but don’t ignore them for too long if you see if Angmar takes em as you don’t want bree to fall and just go around with 2 diplomats selling map info and military access but do these one after the other for 2 different money transactions and build up garrisons in major border regions and Fennas Drunin = Military hub everywhere else build up eco and when you take Celoniach sell it to bree for money it is pretty much a useless region and you will make more money from bree having it than you will hope this helps
Parts 1-9: 10 Dunedain archer units spread across four settlements, Halbarad, Dunedain Christ Pratt, and a prayer hold off everyone while Gandalf rides off to glory. Parts 10-11: Okay Dunland time to get all the smoke while Gandalf destroys jewelry. Part 13: Arnor Reforged, six Bree generals and a doom stack appear and access to better tiers of soldiers and time to steam roll.
Thats a possibility, but it matters not, it will only go better with time now that he has reformed arnor, its not an instant powerspike but a thing i learned, sworn units are a really good hybrid unit and once you get your economy and pop rolling you can just spam them like no tomorrow
I would think they would have scripted him to spawn next to the fort as they scripted all the other generals to spawn next to the settlements to avoid that problem. Could be an oversight.
so what I alwasy thought what happened was all generals were just pushed out of their settlements if they were in them and everything else just swapped over to being under your control. Brathor was already a Rnager general so there was no need to swap him and all the random ones just changed unit types.
I'm not sure if you've had a realization or you still agree with your statement. The generals were not just pushed out of the settlements they were in because most of those settlements were not held by Bree. It is where those generals would have started a campaign though. All of the generic generals do become dunedain bodyguards but some of the hobbit generals were still alive before the unification and they were respawned lacking all traits/retinue they had gained. The real puzzle is Reginald, he's custom but didn't respawn, he didn't become a dunedain bodyguard but he doesn't exist on the map anymore. He's just gone.
@@epmtotalwar no, I was saying when I had my reunited kingdom bree had like 6-7 settlements and all their generals were kicked out of their settlements, i didn't know barliman and the hobbit generals literally respawned to their starting settlements
2:30:58 if you press 'fight the battle' and then immediately retreat manually once you're on the battle map, you'll get the same retreat result as with auto-resolving and losing, but without actually losing any units. But you probably know this
This is not always true. Sometimes you are unable to retreat from the battle even it retreat is possible on the campaign map. Not sure what causes it. Auto is the safer option.
@@Alwman Not sure, but I've definitely done what you suggested before, thinking I can retreat manually and get further than 2 tiles because I have the campaign retreat option in pre-battle options but I get into battle and the retreat button is unclickable.
Side question does anybody know if Minas Morgul can be clensed ? Everybody knows about oosgiliath and fornost, but you can also clense the ancient burials for wraiths after geting enough population (forgot name of the city) thats why iam asking.

When Angmar is removed you can claim Arnor defrosted
We'll just take Angmar out of the freezer and leave them on the countertop for a few hours. That ought to do the trick.
