The only way to get rid of that is to play this song and play it a lot. Even if its at 75% speed, be meticulous with nailing every single detail and feeling the song. Its all about feeling those off beat pops
I know im late but The best way to get all the ghost notes and timings right is to start prcticing slower and get a bit faster over time Oh and dont kill your fingers somtimes you just need to take a rest

I love progressing without realizing... a few months back (just in August, I started playing bass as I was hype for fear Inoculum and was like I NEED to learn bass, I been playing guitar for years tho) but I thought like oh I got guitar down, bass is cake... I lied to myself. Altho I picked it up easier cuz I have the general understanding of music. But I could not for the life of me figure this out. Gave up and moved on. This morning I woke up and went out and my playlist got around to some RHCP. This came on and I was like damn, yknow what. I'm just gonna force myself to learn it. Sat down for 10 minutes and got it within that time. It just came so much more natural and I hadn't even realized that I was capable of it until I tried it, when I was completely inept 2 months back. I wouldn't say that at all lol. And RHCP is pretty much all I listen to these days. Especially Mothers Milk Era RHCP. It's completely different and quite shocking if you grew up with the Chili Peppers in the 2000's

When you hit the notes that are muffled (the x on the tab) Do you hit it with just as much force but lightly lay your finger on it or are you supposed to hit it softer? When I do either it sounds wrong but thats probably just me being shite
