What a Gem. Love them with all my heart x - I wish WOMAN was released as a Single and had a video or something , because that Live performance they did to it was phenomenal xx
I noticed how Mel C was present there when they were discussing how “If You Wanna Have Some Fun” should be structured but disappeared when they were actually singing the song. Guess she had her own schedule to follow. “If You Wanna Have Some Fun” is basically OT3 ft. Mel C.
Angela Love I agree. It’s painfully tragic knowing how much better it could have been. They seriously could have made another classic album that could compete with the wave of Britney, Christina, Jessica, Mandy, etc.
@Skunky Stinkerson That's what I've experienced too with that album, I was the same age as you when it came out. Now that I'm older I lean more to that album because I guess I can relate to the mature sound more. I really like Emma and Mel B's vocals on " Forever"
Geri was gone & Mel C wasn’t there during the full writing & recording of this album.. nowadays, Victoria is the one not feeling to be a Spice Girl anymore. And even Mel C once again isn’t feeling it..Only Mel B & Emma were the loyal ones to the group.
Rafael Magno Watch the documentary Giving You Everything. During the recording of Forever album, Mel C would come in at different times. She said she was depressed & having eating disorder at that time & wasn’t feeling being a Spice Girl. So it was only Mel B, Emma & Victoria recording together & promoting the album. Mel C was also busy with her first solo album that time.
Rafael Magno Mel C was recording and promoting her debut solo album “Morning Star” during the latter half of 1999. The album was released in October the same year. That’s why she wasn’t as available as she otherwise had been.
Agent, I agree. The proof is in the pudding. I made a Wikipedia style career long lineup chart. Emma and Mel B are the only ones who have been in every incarnation of the Spice Girls: 1998-2000 didn’t have Geri, 2016 GEM era didn’t have Victoria or Melanie C, 2019 reunion didn’t have Victoria. Mel B is always the one wanting to do more Spice Girls reunions, Mel C is usually reluctant to do so, though she did do the 2019 tour, and Victoria doesn’t seem to care anymore. Emma and Geri could go either way.
@@SkaMasta097 because Mel B & Emma doesn't have a stable career. Victoria has a fashion empire to run, Mel C has a successful solo career & Geri is a happy housewife.
I 💛 oxygen. IYWHSF is such a filler song but it's not bad. I love Mel B's lines on there especially. Not their best stuff but not bad. They have better harmony as a quartet, but I like V's singing over Geri's.
lovedbynight I agree. For as much as the Forever album lacked the unique character and quality of songwriting the first two albums had, it was also more mature and the actual singing was much better technically speaking. Victoria in particular got to really shine because Geri was out of the picture and the urban style was softer, more suited to her voice. This is why I have mixed feelings about the album.
Even they look bored recording that Oxygen dirge - aaawful album. Making pop songs in two days with rnb producers is ... well, it's why. They skimped out on the album
If you wanna have some fun is my favorite spice girls song I love it
Forever is so underrated

I love this song
Fernando Lopez, thank you so much for uploading this video! This is gold to us fans 😎

Mel C did sing some lines the third Pre-Chorus
Well, as a surprise, stems came out and she sings in the entire chorus 🤷🏻♀️🤣
@@ramonmaldonado3713 Ikr omg it’s so weird now that it’s confirmed I still can’t hear her 😭
@@ramonmaldonado3713 where it came out?

Their third album would have been more successful if it was released in 1999
And if it were better
Should've been out in November 1999 and kept their pop sound. Going down the Darkchild route alienated them and is largely the reason Forever flopped.

It should’ve been a transitional album, old sound + new sound instead of new sound all around
Acho q nessa epoca a Mel C ja estava em tour com o NS
Melanie C reminds me of Reese from Malcolm in the Middle in this video 😂

So this era mel c was free to join the girls wherelse she wasn't free in 2000?

Who the fu...is Mel G?
I guess...lol
Mel B before she get divorced
She became Mel Gulzar after marrying Jimmy Gulzar.
Man that album is awful... can’t stand it - but Holler is a bop!
Wow go re listen. Especially songs like oxygen, let love lead the way, goodbye, time goes by
Forever is perfect! You can't touch it!
@@IndependentConversations llltw and goodbye are ok, but the album as a whole is not even close to spice and spiceworld, sorry
