Tbh a good coaxial is actually better sounding because all the sound will come from one point.
The problem in cars is that they use the doors for speaker location.
If you could somehow have 6,5 inch coaxials in the dash it would sound better .

Good video. But it depends in the type of music and someone’s listening preferences. Most people prefer surround sound

same concept as well. However for MPV we would tackle in different manner if you were to sit at the rear most of the time

How if putting full range speakers on the dashboard and 2 way coaxial speakers at the front door? Is this a good setup?

Normally I will not recommend using full range spkrs of the low performance type, i.e rm200 - rm400, coz initially the sound from it may be impressive but later on you will find that its really bright sounding and "Glaring". If you wanna do full range on the dash , make sure 1. U use a very good quality Full Range (RM1k onwards), 2. Use only 6.5 inch midbass in the doors. 3. Make sure you include a DSp in the setup and the installer assigns the right freq to each of these speakers. I.e Use the Xover in the DSP effectively. Point NO 3 is very important if you want to go this route.

Blam vs Audison vs sony ES vs JBL which one are good speakers (considering ~RM1k to 1.4k)

The JBL are very bass driven type of speakers which the vocals will be a bit drowned. Sony are more to vocal driven in event you intend to play those songs that requires mid bass may not sound so excellent. Hence going for european brands which they tend to sound more balance which allow you to play any genre of music and not compromise the sounding of it -Kallen-
