Growing long hair from short hair is not about hair "growth"...real hair growth is about density of the hair and not it's length. Being a dermatologist I am sure you're aware of that. While the remedies that you have mentioned can work to increase hair density, the pictures that you have used to demonstrate that are not exactly appropriate
